Are there any resources to find a map of the stroller parking areas within the parks?? I couldn't find it on the Disney Mobile App. That's the one thing that I would like to make plans with because we also seemed to find the most inconveniently located ones...:magnify:

Not sure if it's on the actual park map or not, but in our experience there are SO many places to park your stroller that we haven't really worried about planning it out. There's always one nearby, though in all fairness we've been there so much that we now know where most of them are.

This is our second trip with the stroller and last year it felt like we had to hunt down a location or just park it at the first one we came to, most of the times it was a far enough away to make me want to see if there was a map of the locations..

Following - next year will be my first trip with a stroller and I've never paid attention to stroller parking before!

There is stroller parking outside almost every ride. Near Small World and Peter Pan they park together just past Small World. Most other attractions you leave it right by the line.

Careful as the move the strollers around to make more room....the CM ended up dumping a water bottle that was in the tray of the stroller and the bumped it into the seat and it soaked the seat. Secure all items...they helped us clean up, and we had to get a bag out of the store so child could sit in.....

I second the warning to ensure all cargo is stowed securely. They will often move your stroller around and things can get knocked off or spilled.

The only place that stroller parking was very irksome was the land pavilion at Epcot. Otherwise they are usually pretty close to the attractions.

Side question, how safe is stuff left in stroller? Not talking about bags and souvenirs, but like sweatshirts, lunch box with kid food in bottom basket of stroller?

As others have said there is no map, but it tends to be evident from the tons of strollers everywhere :-) If you can't locate the nearest, just ask any cast member. And as others have said they move the strollers around a lot so make sure you have something discernible on yours. We are getting ready for our first trip sans a stroller, so we'll see how the other half lives.

We've traveld multiple times with a stroller and found everything to be safe. We always left stuff in there (to include souvenirs) and never had an issue.

agree with kastoney above. when we were in the park during the past week, there was ALWAYS a stroller parking area near each attraction. if I couldn't see it, i would ask the CM guarding the entrance.

as for leaving personal belongings on the stroller, we left my son's pirate sword under the stroller, as well as mist fan, water bottles, ponchos and cooling towels. nothing was stollen.

Umm what!!! I guess if she can run with food being thrown at her she can walk Disney!

I haven't had issues with items stolen, we leave everything but money and expensive items (ergo and camera).

Obviously, we're not leaving my wife's wedding ring in it, but we've left souvenirs, food, clothes, etc... probably over 500 times over the past 10 years and have never once had anything disappear. As others noted, CMs will move strollers to maximize space, and that has lead to a few "where's waldo" hunts, but beyond that, no issues.

Yeah we may quickly regret the decision but we shall see. She's starting kindergarten next month and crazy tall so a stroller just seems so 2015 :-) Of course I'm fully prepared for day 2 and shelling out ridiculous sums of $ to rent a disney stroller. :P

Kindergarten!!!!! Crazyness! You could always rent from an outside company if she had to have one.... But I bet it will be successful!

make sure food is safely contained ie animal proof as that is only problem we have had with stuff left under stroller

We stopped and talked with a stroller CM at EPCOT last year, and we all stopped to watch this squirrel go stroller to stroller, basket to basket, bags to bags, this little booger was taking inventory and hunting out anything that was left out and sparked its interest (the critter was literally digging through strollers). And we knew about CMs moving the strollers all the time, word to the wise get crafty to make a stroller sign unique enough to be found in a sea of identical strollers (and stroller signs). The sign I made for ours last year made it so ridiculously easy to find, while we watched others go aisle to aisle to hunt theirs down. I guess I just must be asking the wrong CMs about stroller parking, they would send us quite a ways away...

We have traveled to WDW many times with a stroller. After the first time exiting a ride and not seeing our stroller where we left it we learned it is a "just relax and survey the parking area until we find it" because the CM's have a heck of a job keeping some areas clear enough for people to walk. Funny side story, our daughter always took her doll, Sarah, on vacation. Sarah had a very nice wardrobe because grandma found out that preemie clothes at target were cheaper than doll clothes. Couple that with the fact that when in the parks when our daughter was not in the stroller she would put Sarah (the doll) in the stroller and position her so she looked like a real child ( she would partially cover her face with the blanket and leave her feet showing so you could see the real child clothing. We came out of the store in frontier land after trading pins and proceeded to the stroller parking area next bear jamboree and we were met by a very angry cast member (old enough to be a grandmother herself) and were admonished for leaving our baby in the stroller. WE ARE NOT BABYSITTERS, YOU CANNOT LEAVE YOUR CHILD IN THE STROLLER FOR US TO WATCH!!!!! At which point we removed the blanket and informed her it is a baby doll. She turned and left without a word. :-)

Omg that is hilarious. She must have been so embarrassed.

ETA we always leave things in our stroller and have never lost or gotten anything stolen. Of course, cameras and expensive items we keep with us.

LOL!

OP, we didn't use a stroller but we saw plenty of parking places for strollers. My wife's step mom used an electric scooter, and she didn't have a problem find a parking place for it (usually by the strollers.)

There are quite a few "Stroller Parking" signs posted that you will be able to see... but the other sure-fire thing to look for is all of the other strollers!!! Trust me, you'll have plenty of company. One unique parking situation is KS at Animal Kingdom. There you take the stroller into the queue and at a certain point your hand off the stroller to a CM who will take it to the parking lot that you will encounter as you walk out of the attraction. As other have already alluded to, Disney is very aggressive at rearranging strollers to compact the area they take up, don't panic when you discover your stroller isn't where you left it.

Our youngest is 17 now, so it's been a while for us, but here's what we recommend: If you have an "old reliable" stroller, take it instead of buying the latest and greatest stroller for your Disney trip. We had a well-loved stroller that we used. This prevented the following problems: 1) It wasn't tempting for someone to "swipe" it, 2) No one would accidentally take it because it was the same model as their stroller, 3) it was pretty easy to spot.
