Stroller Parking

Forgot to add, we used to tie something on the handle of our stroller, usually a colorful rag or piece of plastic bag because a lot of strollers look alike.

Like many others have said stroller parking is everywhere. Make sure you park in stroller parking though. If you think "Oh I'll just park it here for a quick second!" the CMs are pretty quick to move it to the nearest location. If you don't know where that is you could be in for a miserable stroller search.

As for safety we have always felt pretty safe leaving most things in them but I have seen multiple threads started about theft in Disney parks/resorts. One lady reported someone stole her purse out of the stroller but was nice enough to take her keys out of her purse and leave them in the stroller. (This sounds like someone who knows what they're doing). Also reports of people stealing popular dolls (think Elsa a year or 2 ago). If it's of ANY value to you just leave it in the room or keep it with you.

Some rides the parking is right there by the queue entrance but others it just is a bit of a hike away due to the layout of the area. Fantasyland in particular does not have close stroller parking to many rides.
We have not had issues leaving spare clothes and such in our stroller. I have read reports of theft from strollers but generally I think it's pretty safe to leave non-valuables. But I do stuff everything underneath so it doesn't blow away or look tempting and easy to get.

I second or third or fourh the idea of doing something to identify your stroller.
We bought a new stroller to take grandson and our first day first ride was the safari at AK. As we got to the point where cm takes stroller we hurriedly handed it to her and took bag out. When we got off the ride we could not find it but found an identical model that was filthy. There was no way it was an honest mistake of taking the wrong one.
I washed it in the hotel shower that night and it dried but it was very disappointing.
I don't know if it would have happened if we had left something in it.

I buy a spool of Disney ribbon at a craft store and tie a bow on the handle of my stroller and a matching one on my backpack.

When I park the stroller with anything in it, I move the items to the seat and put the top canopy all the way down over it. Also put a poncho over it if it looks like rain!

So how about the original question? I really would like to know if somebody has stroller parking knowledge because I know it would be a world of help for my planning

Haven't traveled with a stroller for years but wanted to mention that at the Safari in Animal Kingdom, the strollers are NOT parked at the entrance. You take the stroller into the queue line and a ways before the boarding area, there will be a spot where you need to remove the child and whatever you want out of your stroller and then park it off to the right. On the way out of the Safari, you pick up your stroller on the left after the exit. You can tell where the stroller parking is on the way in because there's a momentary stoppage of foot traffic while families hand over the stroller.

There is not a specific stroller parking map. There are so many places and designated areas it's difficult to list them all. Folks have advised that there are many places for parking, and you can really do on-the-fly planning for this. For example, when you find the parking you can look around and see what attractions are in your plans for now before you need to move the stroller again. Some are specific designated areas (such as near the Tangled bathrooms, Enchanted Tales, Carousel, and Mine Train in MK) with signage and a CM managing the area. Others are marked against fences or other bordered areas (such as near Pooh, Barnstormer).

Be on the lookout for signs saying "no stroller parking" (such as against the ropes near Peter Pan queue) as well. Again, not on a map but easily marked when you're there. Within any given area, especially in MK, you can stand still and look around to see several appropriate areas to park a stroller. It becomes easy, and makes me want to continue to bring one rather than feel its a burden.

I understand wanting to think through the logistics, but you will see the areas (or hoards of strollers) around every corner and really don't need to over-plan this portion to have it be a less stressful time. Note other tips for finding your stroller once needed and how to best manage the areas in this thread.

Agreed. If your level of detail on park planning includes concerns about where to park your stroller, you're definitely over-cooking it! When you arrive near an attraction, it only takes about 5 seconds to visually survey the area and pick a stroller parking spot.
