Still Sassy after all this time!

Hey Sassies! I'm on bunny brigade. Those little bean lovers are wreaking havoc on my veggies. Brian finished my fence last night so hopefully that will keep the wiggly nosed critters out. I used to love them, but now I'm classifying them with wood chucks and raccoons, pests!

Wilma, good luck keeping Wally quiet after neutering. Speck was 16 weeks old and his breed is sooooo active all the time. It was not an easy task even the vet said good luck with that before we left his office.

Angie, yikes with all the together time with mil.:scared1:We have been seeing a lot more of my mil too since Brian's dad has been in the hospital and now in a nursing home for some rehabilitation before coming home. He's doing well though so hopefully he will be home sooner than later.

Shannon, Reece's school goes late! I thought we were the last ones out for the summer.

Meli, congrats on the weight loss! Are you doing something special or just winging it? I think I need a more organized plan.:rolleyes1

Hi Judi, Julie, Tricia, Bonnie, Squiddy!

Becca - Perhaps you should go all Mr. MacGregor on the bunnies, or request Speck's assistance. Between playing with the boys, chowing on kibble and scratching himself I am sure he can find some time to rid the yard of bunnies!

Welcome to Thursday

Break news, Hammer pants are coming back. Yes, MC Hammer on the news today. :rotfl2:

Mr. Judi has joined moi in the unemployment ranks again. The glass is always 1/2 full, Cole's brace payments are done. I have had to "pre-interviews" this week, yes pre, one e-mail, one phone. Is this the norm now?

If anyone wants a good laugh. pm me your e-mail address, that one is a hoot.:rotfl2:

Good morning!! It's another beautiful day in paradise (OK, not really but if I say it enough maybe I'll start to believe it). :teeth:

Today is the MIL's b-day. Dwight never knows what time he'll get home on weeknights, so we're taking her out this weekend to Carraba's. So far we've seen her every weekend, usually both days. And I had her come over Monday night and we spent 2 hours online getting her internet/phone/DirecTV set up. Oh, and last week she wrecked her car and I had to go get her and bring her to our house so she could calm down. She wasn't hurt, and the accident was her fault (she decided to turn left from the outside lane without looking to see if anyone was in the inside lane-she got T-boned by a big Dodge truck!). I feel like I have a child now! :headache: I told Dwight that spending all day with her every Saturday and Sunday was going to get old fast. Hopefully she'll join a church and a club or two and start making some friends.

Well, I'd better get some work done. Have a great day!! :flower3:
oh my! I knew once your MIL decided to move to AZ you were going to have some stories. Turning left for the outer lane! Woah...

I hope she makes friends soon too.
I know Shaun's grandma hangs out at the Knights something or other for her entertainment.

Good morning, Sassies! It's another rainy one here in old Cville. I know I should not complain, but I am soooooooo tired of rain. I get down enough with the cold, wet weather in the winter and certainly don't need more rain in the summer. It gets depressing. Bring on the sun!
Oh. I love rain in the summertime! Mainly b/c it cuts the heat.

Silly bunnies. Hopefully the fence will keep them out.

My doctor put me on Meridia + we cut out all soda/high sugar drinks/alcohol + walking the dogs more. So its not the best way of losing weight but its working.

Apparently yesterday afternoon - Gaston stole a roll of toliet paper and was running around hte house with it. He jumped on the bed as my husband was coming out of the bathroom. He took it from him and Gaston in turn peed on the bed. My brand new matress. Luckily we had a matress protector on it so that it wouldn't seep through to the matress. So yeah - dogs got to be kicked out of the bedroom last night since the matress protector wasn't dried yet.

He would love nothing more than to have a real bunny chew toy, unfortunately for him Brian redid his invisible fence so he would not be in the garden laying on the cool dirt all summer. He sits out there pointing the garden, he just can't help it. Then he turns on his afterburners and runs around the yard at top speed for about 10 minutes then back to pointing. I think he needs therapy.

Sorry about your husband, Judi.

PM is on the way.

e-mails sent, now can I get a rating. 1 to 10 please.

Judi - don't you have my email? I want in on it!

Mel - Toilet paper thievery is Wally's favorite pastime. He has become so adept that he can gently hold the end of the paper and then run through the hall, past the stairs and into the living room, TPing all the way. Goof ball dog!

Becca - Wally and Speck can go to therapy together if you wish, but I think that this may be a good role for Chet. "Buck Therapist". After all, what is he doing but hanging around all day? He could certainly stand to listen to Speck's issues while hanging on the wall. Sounds like a win win for the Becca household.

Mrs. FoP
Don't have your e-mail. Are you sure you want to read this, I think Meli and Becca have laughed themselves into another world by now.

And yes, I did reply. :teeth:

Oh, and since I can repair car engine, Angie, I'm sure I can find something for your MIL to do. ;) I'll get right on it.

I want in on this email fun. I just sent you a PM Judi.

We are going to the Zephyrs game tonight. That's our AAA baseball team. The kids are excited ..........the girls mostly for the junk food at the game  and Colin wants to catch a ball. He already has his glove in the car and we aren't leaving for a couple of hours.

Oh my Judi! I have never before seen a preinterview interview questionnaire. Did you put a 1 for how well you get along with your co workers?:lmao:I was cracking up!

Wilma, Chet while looks good hanging on the wall is not very smart. He was not the brightest deer in the forest(obviously, he is hanging on my wall). So, therapy is not his line of work, he is way too whiney about being stuck on the wall with no legs or his fluffy white tail.

Tricia, my boys don't play baseball, but when we took them to a Kalamazoo Kings game they had their gloves too. They had a blast since it was team autograph night and they took their hats on the field and the whole team signed them. Have a great time!

After 54785738 hours of trying to get on the Dis.
Tricia sent :lmao:

Why, Yes Becca, I did give myself a 1 and stated, well I guess I flunk this part, don't I?

Also told him I couldn't fix his auto engine, because I didn't own a cherry picker.:upsidedow

Every company up here is now doing preinterviews, the rest have been on the phone :confused3

Does a sentence really need a . and !, or . and ? I flunked the double punctuation as well.!

I think you underestimate Chet. I think he just whines to throw you off the track, and he really reads works of Nietzsche and Kant while you are not looking. It's just a feeling I have.

Judi - I will PM you my email. I can always use another laugh!

If you have a facebook page, check it, ladies! I have been sending gifts!

Good Morning Sassies.

Well Judi I can't say that I've ever seen an email like that before. :rotfl:

The game last night was fun. It was actually not too hot, really quite comfortable with a little breeze blowing which is rare for our weather in June. They won which makes it all the more fun too. No balls were caught but the glove didn't leave Colin's hand unless he was eating.

I think Colin and I are going to see UP today. My girls are going off with friends so it's just the two of us. The only other movie that he wants to see is Imagine That which I think comes out today.

Sounds like fun, Tricia! Mr. FofP caught a foul ball at a Richmond Braves game once - it was quite exhilarating, but I am not really sure why:confused3:).

We've decided to put UP off for a while - I don't want to have to haul a teary child from the theater. I have to go and get Barney from camp this morning - what do you want to bet he comes home and naps? I am interested to hear how it all went. Can anyone really enjoy swimming 7 hours a day?:confused3 Stay tuned!

Hello Becca, Angie, Judi, Shannon, Bonnie, Squid, Mel and Julie! Have a great Friday!

Hey there, Sassies!

Joe was supposed to come this weekend, but his mom had to have surgery so I have today off for nothing! At least I have more time to work on memory books this weekend.

I hope everyone has a fantastic Friday! Any big plans for the weekend?

Hi Tricia. :wave2: Our schools get out on the 17th. But I'm teaching summer camp this year.

How are you doing?

Good Morning

Tricia glad yall had a nice time at the ball game.

I think that pre interview letter as really sent by Angies' MIL :rotfl2:

Swimming 7 a day not my cup of tea, but I'm more of a coffee girl anyway.

Sorry about you date Toots.

Need more coffee :wave2:

Hi Judi! I'm sorry to hear about Mr. Judi's lack of job. Brent still doesn't have on either.
