After chillaxin' we headed over to Everything Pop and checked out the store. I have to say, they do have a great selection in there.
The guys were hungry and I was determined to find something light since I had the pulled pork for lunch. I was trying my best to maintain some sort of a diet! I had hummus and pita chips. Both were very good actually. The chips were so good that I bought some to bring home with me. The guys got burgers. There were plenty of places to sit and of course, I fed my napkin habit. DH laughs because I collect a load of those babies and bring them home and take them to work. I tend to grab a zillion of those babies at a time. DH says that if I get much worse they will need their own suitcsae. They make me smile when I have them at work and use them when I'm having a crappy day. They make my day a bit more "magical."
Here are more food pics......
After we ate, back in the car we went. DB and I took turns on who got to sit in the front. You'd have thought we were 12 or something.
Any more guesses on the car? The answer will be revealed at the end of this TR. lol
MK parking was pretty full. I remember we were in row 111 which I think is Grumpy. We do not do handicap parking at MK because you end up walking further when you do. I think we got there around 7. MK was open around midnight I think.
We took the tram and hopped on the monorail....please stand clear of the doors...por favor.......oh, sorry...............
As soon as we got off of the monorail I felt rain. Of course, what else? I was the only one with a bag so I headed to bag check and sent DH to get ponchos becaus the zillion that I brought were back in the room.....nice, eh? DB had to use restroom so he went off to the restroom near City Hall. No magical first glance at the castle for him! By the time I got to the store next to guest relations it was POURING. It wasn't raining it was frickin POURING! DH and I got to the train station and went inside hoping that DB would be there. He was not so DH sent him a a text. We got a glimpse of him standing near City Hall. We had his poncho so DH and I made a run for it. Check this out.
I was kind of bummed that DB didn't get his first castle glimps and the goose bumps that almost immediately follow. Booo..........
The rain went on for at least 1/2 an hour or so. DH got the idea to make a run for the Emporium and then come out the other side by Casey's and see how far into the park we could go before getting wet. Once we got to the other side near the baby station (by CP) we found a seat and waited for the rain to stop. We started chatting with a family that was actually making their way out of the park. There were at least three generations maybe four. Gramma was having herself a good old time. She sat there in here wheelchair with what appeared to be airline bottles of booze.

Yeah, she had it going on alright! There were three very adorable children. The dad was putting them under one poncho and trying to get them to walk side by side out of the park. Forget that, they didn't make it three feet! Very cute though. It was nice to pass the time and get to talk to them. Very nice people and most people were crabby because of the weather so it was a true joy.
Once the rain stopped or got to the point of being able to walk through, we went over to PotC. Everyone was in the right lane so I got into the left. Woo Hoo........ We got all the way to the front of the line. There were only 4 other people in the boat and we took the third row. Yay me! I just love that ride. Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me......ooops, sorry...started singing again.
I did not take many pictures until much later in the evening. I was really scared of ruining the camera.
After PotC we went over to DH's favorite ride, HM. We were going to do Splash and BTMRR but we decided to wait and do that in the day time. I love BTMRR at night though. My first time on in the dark was with Kayla (Jenn's daughter) and my nephew Matt last year. Loved it! The wait for HM said 20 minutes but I think we waited maybe 5 at the most. Nearly walked right in. I rode with DH and DB rode alone.
Next we made our way to Fantasyland. I was worried about the time because Spectro was to be at 8 but I had heard that they were on a delay. Didn't know how long, but a delay. We passed Peter Pan. What is it with that ride? The line was like forever long so we passed.
We went into iaswaa which I love.
By the way........I am issuing an Amber Alert for the Greek kid. He was missing people.....missing!
Next up was Philharmagic. This attraction is becoming my favorite.
Mouse butt!!!!!!!!
I get teary ever single time. I love Lumier. DH calls him my "boyfriend."
I truly can't get enough of this attraction. I could probably sit through it 10 times and still want to see more.
So, where did we go from here? Did we see Spectro? Wishes? Second Spectro? Did it rain more?
Stay tuned!
