SSR question, what about fireworks?

I just added SSR points to my Contract. I'm excited about Saratoga but a question has come up in my mind. Everynight at midnight at DTD they set off fireworks. Has anybody had experience to know if you can hear those fom the resort?

Experienced DVCers having stayed at SSR, please share your experiences. Thanks!

DH, DS and I stayed at SSR Father's Day weekend. Our room was on the ground floor, just across from the playground and quiet pool (sorry, I can't remember the exact building number at the moment).
Friday night was not bad. We heard them, but it was short and did not wake up DS. Saturday night, however, was awful! Our room was lit up like daytime and it was unbelieveably loud! I think the the barge they set fireworks off from was literally right next to the SSR shore line. The windows were even shaking. I posted on the DISboards about it and people said that those Saturday night were special, i.e., not the norm for PI.
Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed there the first week it opened and had a PI view 1BR on the top floor. We couldn't hear them from inside the room, but did enjoy watching from our balcony.

They last only a couple of minutes- so even if you would wake up, it's not of long duration.

It's also worth noting that only 4 of what will eventually be 18 buildings sit on the waterway between SSR and DD.

We were there last week and did not hear them at all from inside. The last night we went outside and did see and hear them. Frankly, we thought that they only lasted about 30 seconds!

When we were there I thought they were pretty short too and so one night I timed them on my watch just to see.

Unfortunately I don't remember exactly what it was. It was either 25 seconds, or it was 35 seconds. One of those two, but don't remember which.

In either case, you're looking at about a half-minute.

We were there for five nights. As others have said, the fireworks last only about 30 seconds. A couple of nights I was up around midnight waiting for the fireworks to start. I lost track of time though and missed them by a few minutes and was a little surprised that I didn't even hear them. If you are inside and the doors are closed, you really can't hear them unless you are conscious of it and listening very closely. I don't think they would wake you if you were sleeping--that's just how soundproof everything is. You might be able to hear them if you were waiting for them and listening closely.
