SSR Location recomendation with infant

We are staying at SSR in about a month and want to do make a room request. We are staying with an infant. Any recommendations on what area to request? Looking for easy access to buses to the parks, and easy access to the pool. Thanks

Are you booked Standard or Preferred?

Preferred, request Springs. Standard, request Grandstand or Paddock.

We usually choose Grandstand. It is 1st on the bus, 1st off the bus, easy access to quiet pool and a short 5 minute walk to main building.

How long is the walk to Disney Springs?

We stayed in the grandstand in December and I liked that it was the first stop to get off and the first to be picked up! It was also not too far from the main building

From the pool at the Grandstand area of SSR, it is 0.216 miles to the boat ramp below the Carriage House. It will drop you off at the Westside of DS. If you want then you can take another boat to the Marketplace or Pleasure Island dock.

Or you can take the internal bus to the Congress Park section and walk across to Disney Spring Marketplace. Which is 0.311 miles from the CP bus stop.

I understand there is still a bus to DS from SSR as well.

You can't be both "close to Disney Springs" and "close to the Carriage House," really.

I would say Paddock area. We stayed there and loved it. We were in the closest building to Congress Park, so just a short walk to Disney Springs.
