Squirts, Shirts, and Flirts, The Legend Continues 2 weeks in FW(wrap up #2 new 11-17)

No I've never been stung by one but that's probably cause I swim away as fast as I can if I see one! They are just creepy little creatures.

Yup, my nephew Jake also makes those faces very well! :rotfl:
i see, do they have them on the jersey shore? or are they more warmer water sea creatures.

Funny story from Soarin! Wonder if she would of grabbed Candi's thigh if she would have been sitting next to her? :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

i dont know, im thinking nope just me.

Hey Dan, Great update! Parker is such a little man! He's gotten so big compared to the other pix I've seen from last year. Amazing!

Glad you posted about the Velcro frogs. That's the one (and only) thing I want to do in Innoventions. Can you tell me exactly where they are, EAst or West? Can you give me a landmark??

TIA

If her hand was cold, it was an accident- if not, she's was a good fibber. ;)

he is a little man all right, they are right inside the door that looks at soarin, so im going with west...

hmm never thought about the temperature of the hand thing.
:scratchin
good indicator.
after she did it she did not stray it far away she held onto the handle bar after that.

yeah i think it also helps with how you portray them before they get there and as they are watching them from a distance...different things worked with him at different times...like you will see when he visits the faires later on in the report the ones that were over the top he did not like, but the laid back ones he did.

i have never seen an underside of a stingray i thought it was very cool glad he came up onthe glass/

some people just like to seize the oportunity to get close to this guy.:cool2::laughing:

well i did not see you come around after the first update the day before so i though maybe a second update will get you back to respond.
:rotfl:

well he has 2 years till the next trip, and hopefully he will be a big boy and take his younger brother or sister with him to see them...and no candi is not pregnant, just planning ahead.

crush is great, very funny you guys would love it, we hit it every trip.

i bet next trip, you will sit next to a guy and grab his leg and use the whole sorry i was scared bit then, now that you know girls can get away with it.
:thumbsup2

well that and the fact that i made sure i told her when we were far enough away so she didnt get the claws out.

hmm lesson learned, not sure, there could be a few, but we will leave them along for now.
;)

that picture cracks me up every time i look at it.

i like to learn about how they do all the growing very interesting stuff.

it is coming, might not be today have a busy one scheduled, so hopefully will get it out there for tomorrow.

nope none of us have, we looked there menu and even though the characters seem fun there, we are not to big on the food they offer...but maybe some trip we will try it.

not going to comment on the extra tough  this is a family thread.

yeah i see her smile every night when he says no mama and wants her instead of me, or when he wakes up and cuddles up in her lap she eats it up.

i guess you just are not sitting next to the right people, need to watch them while waiting in line and pick out the ones that are looking a little skitish then go stand by them.
:rotfl2:

2 updates always bring me around

You know I was going to ask that :rotfl2:

Definitely make a point this trip to hit up Crush :thumbsup2

Yup, they have them here. It's hard to see them but they're there. Gotta watch out for the crabs crawling on the ocean floor too. They pinch ya!
ahh nuts there goes my dream of running into the ocean off the jersey shore, but not with crabs in there bitting me.
:headache:

Great update! Parker is too cute in the pic on the land:thumbsup2
thanks, he knows how to cute up a picture in a hurry huh.

of course i knew it sharky, you would be snarky sharky if you didnt.
:rotfl:

i think trent will really like it, and maybe he will even get a question asked, have him wear a bright hat to get noticed or something.

Just wanted to say i found your report today, and have spent the last hour or so reading it. I am loving it. Your family is soo cute. Can't wait to read more.

Loved the character shots with Parker. His little face was so expressive about what he was thinking! :goodvibes

yah, you Fauntleroy boys, just out flirting everywhere you go - Candi was probably right! :rotfl2:

The "face" on the ray is really cute. We have an aquarium out here that always has a tank of baby ones - they are white on the bottom, and they "dance" against the glass. I always call them the Marshmallow men.

Oh! Oh! Candi goes Mama Bear on some kids????;)

Today I conducted an experiment in your honor; namely, seeing whether you can apply some redneck engineering to use a standard gas grill as a smoker. The results look promising, but the proof is in the flavor. We will dine in 2 hours so I'll let you know if it turns out.

I am all caught up! Even though you all didn't mean to wear the same color, it still looks nice in all of your pictures. Parker looks so cute "driving" the SUV. The Soarin' story made me laugh!

great update and pics.

we ate at EU and it was good.

Love TT.

:rotfl2: at what happened on Soarin'.

The character pics are great.

and happy to give you some entertainment reading for a little while.

well flirting just comes nature to us fauntleroy boys, we dont even have to try and they get drawn in.

yep mama grizzly is coming up, will be the next chapter.

ohh im wondering how this turned out for you? hope it was tasty.

if it worked can you let me know how you did it.

he has a blast doing that, whenever i have to move a car in the driveway, he thinks he is so big when he gets to sit in the passanger seat with me and ride along, or if he sits on my lab and helps me pull the car out of the garage or something, he loves it.

thanks scott, im glad we ate there, good food and very cool AC in there.

popcorn::

I've enjoyed the trip report. We are campers too, and I feel your pain in regards to tire problems on the way to the Fort.

i know whats with him leaving us hanging like that, maybe it was not very good so he wants to let the subject die.

:welcome: we just took another trip this last weekend up here, great get away nice and relaxing.

blow a few tires in your day huh?

2 trips ago to disney, he blew out 3 tires on the camper on the way down. luckily it was a tri axle trailer so when 1 blew it was still pretty managable to pull the trailer.

Everyone always says that the rain only lasts 10 minutes. And sometimes when we're there, it does. But we've also had all-day, forcing cancellation of things rain, too. I remember sitting there in 2007, when I was supposed to be seeing Illuminations for the first time, thinking, "Why won't this rain go away??? They told me it would be gone within a half hour!!" :rotfl: Someday, I'm going to Disney during a time that DOESN'T feature a decent chance of rain every day of my trip!!!
We usually get lucky with the rain showers being fairly short. The most exciting downpour came just as DW and I were loading onto BTMRR. We were almost on the ride and you could tell it was getting bad outside. They were even warning everyone in line that the ride could be shut down if conditions got much worse. Well, we managed to get on and just as we pulled out of the station it started to rain pretty big drops. DW and I laughed the whole way around. I'm just glad I still had my sunglasses on so I could see (well, a little anyway, but better than constant raindrops in the eyes).

Of course the best part is the rain usually runs a lot of people out of the park, so wait times are shorter, at least for a while.
Great update Dan! Somehow I knew it was you who was going to have a touching moment. I'll bet that person was embarrassed! Are you sure there isn't a "lesson learned" somewhere in that story?
Yeah Dan, I'm just glad it wasn't Glenn on the ride beside Candi..... He would have had to reach all the way across her to get to your leg!!! :rotfl2:

I missed a lot while I was gone, but all caught up now! Parker has some great facial expressions he can pull on you. My kids were always good at that too, but giving in to them is all part of the fun of parenting (as long as you don't go overboard and they become the spoiled brats I've seen in some of the ride lines :lmao: ) Of course, I've seen some older people that way in line too....

And I don't think the Fauntleroy's have a monopoly on the flirting thing either. DS13 can pull that one with about any female he meets and get his way! He got it honest, but don't ask me where....... :rolleyes1

Good to hear she calmed herself down after her coppin' her feelio!

OK, got it, the one near Soarin!! Thanks!

to funny about BTMR, hope the rain didnt hurt when it was hitting you at those speeds...and i think glenn would have used the excuse that he was checking to see if she was okay.

this is true, you have to watch how much and what you give into them, or they will walk all over you.

nope not a monoploy just teaching the little guy all of my tricks:thumbsup2 allthough he has a few of his own that he plays pretty good.

u should see some of the cards he plays when we are the grocery store, all the girls there know him and they talk about him to the other shift bragging when he comes to see them...the one said we had to stop coming in the evening and so she can see him more in the morning hours.

your little guy is to cute
:welcome: and thank you very much for the nice compliment.
glad you have you along.

Good to hear she calmed herself down after her coppin' her feelio!

OK, got it, the one near Soarin!! Thanks!
yep, for her sake.

and if its not the one nearer to soarin, try the other one.
:lmao:
50/50 shot of finding it, but it was next to a door...if that helps.

Chapter 9. From mama giggles to mama grizzly

So an exciting revelation in the TR world since the last chapter, and that would be the arrival of my photopass CD, so from here out, we get those for you to enjoy as well.

But first we stop by club cool to sample a few drinks.
DSC00864.jpg

the audience in there kinda ruined our experience, so we did not stay long at all, there was young teen kids everywhere in there with no manners what so ever. pushing through us to get drinks then just being loud and annoying with no parents anywhere in sight...these kids were everywhere so we just had a few and left.

Know its time for the world premier of the photopass CD pictures.

we were walking down the middle of Epcot to the future world area, and parker sees a monorail driving up and starts to jump aroundlike crazy yelling for it...well the photopass guy saw it and moved around real fast to get to the other side.

he missed him jumping for it, but got a pretty good shot anyway.
Photo0051.jpg

and another one, we think he was shy all of a sudden because he wanted a picture of him so excited.
Photo0052.jpg

we thanked him for spotting that and then went to stand in the direction that he was taking pictures.
Photo0054.jpg

after that we split and candi and I went back to use our rider switch tickets for test track

and where i found my first hidden mickey of the trip that I have not seen before.
DSC00865.jpg

i am hoping for the book for christmas so next trip, parker and I can find more of them.

when i ride test track with candi I have to video her when it goes outside, she cracks me up on this ride so i thought i would share it.

a video for you to enjoy.

and you have mama giggles

Photo0061.jpg

what was parker, nana, and papa doing you may be thinking well they went on to mexico and started a kid cot for parker.
DSC01552.jpg

then they hopped on the ride there which he loved.
DSC01553.jpg

it was another one he did not want to get off, but when we were walking in the building they were walking off the ride, so we hopped on and road it again with them.

when we were leaving mexico, my mom asked me where the stroller was and i said over there by all those teen boys. candi looked and said ohh i dont think so....

we got over there and there was about 5-6 cant remember the exact amount laying all over his stroller...on was sitting on the railing with his feet on the foot rest, andother was laying on the back of it with his stomach almost on the handles where you push, the others were resting there hands holding themselves up on it...just a bunch of crazyness.

so candi says in not so nice of words to them.
"excuse me, you guys are laying all over my sons stroller".....and so on, i dont remmeber what else she said to them, cause i was watching the steam roll out of her ears...

at this they just said, "ohh sorry" it was in the teen talk type speech like surfer dude type.

this got her even madder, that they didnt even think what they were doing was wrong...

then to top things off, the mother and her friend who were standing there, rolled her eyes at us, and said to the boys,
"boys thats not nice say your sorry"

which they said sorry in an even more teen (like i cant believe she is upset i was taking a nap on her sons stroller) talk
"sorrrrrrryyyyy"

then the mom started laughing at the boys thinking that they were doing a great job being jerks and not apoligizing and applauding there rude behavoir.

i saw candis eyes get wide, to the point they were bigger than softballs, which was my cue to keep the mama grizzly in here from getting any bigger, so i grabbed the stroller away from the hoodlums, and grabbed her and parker and we walked away to put him in his seat...

my parents were hot at this exchange as well, and its one thing my dad cant tolerate is rude people who could care less for others...so i made everyone get out of there.
lesson learned: some parents are really easy to see that the apple does not fall far from the tree.

So moving along we were confrunted with a 40 minute wait out the doors at norway.
DSC01556.jpg

to which we all said no thanks no waiting for us, lets get fast passes, which gave me another lesson learned.

lesson learned: i know understand that sometimes norway does need the fast pass machine, and it is not a stupid attraction to have it at.

candi was still a little heated up after that exchange so she just blurted out, i need a drink, which my dad aggreed we all did, so it was time to back track a little to mexico...and come to.
DSC00869.jpg

looks like it did the trick for candi and made her smile.
DSC00879.jpg

parker was also happy because, he loves anything to do with water and boats and he was in heaven watching the sites.
DSC00871.jpg

DSC00870.jpg

with drinks in hand we headed on to china...we decided to do another kid cot for parker.
DSC01557.jpg

the lady spelled his name in chinese and put a bunch of stamps on there for his birthdate.

DSC00881.jpg

it was getting close to our dinner time, so we kept on moving toward our destination but were stopped by the mighty bridge being raised to let the boats out for the night show, which parker loved to watch them driving by.
DSC01558.jpg

and it was the first time i have seen the bridge raised so i was excited as well.

coming up next, dinner, a bunch of lessons learned...and the big lessons learned in our campground that night.

I enjoyed the video of Test Track.

What's wrong with people....putting their feet and everything all over your stroller? And the mother was no help at all. That would've sent my blood pressure through the roof in a second, and I'm sure Judy would've "lost it" on them too.

I'm glad the drink helped calm Candi down!
