Spring Break 2017

We are trying to plan a trip for April next year. Know to avoid Easter (the 16th). Also want to avoid spring break rush. If we plan the first week in April will we avoid the worst of spring break?

March or may would be better, but if it has to be April, the first week is your best bet. Expect it to still be very busy, though.

We have been to Disney three times during spring break. YES the week leading up to Easter weekend and it was NOT that bad at all. We have been pleasantly suprised every time. We usually get there the Thursday or Friday the week before Easter and depart on Sat. of Easter weekend. We are dictated by that schedule because of our schools here.

That is actually really good to know. We have been many times before during off periods, but 2017 will be our first year going that week before Easter due to the kids. I must admit I am very apprehensive. I fully expect to have a touring plan and get to the parks when they open etc, but do you have any suggestions or advice for visiting at that time?
