spoiled rotten trip day one!

We drove from WPB to Orlando at 8 am! arrived in Disney at 10:30 went to Epcot Kennel to drop off our dog zero!
Headed to Yacht club!!!! When we arrived I was told to let the valet know we were here so I did. He brought us up to the concierge floor.
Trevor greeted us and checked us in. She walked us to our room which she felt had the best view in the hotel!! I agree!!! It was AWESOME!! We were upgraded to a waterview and what a waterview it was!!!Room 5161!! We were sooooo surprised and happy. in the room was a letter that said "welcome #### family" and a chocolate picture of the Yacht club, very cool!!
Next we headed to the lounge to see what was available we got some coffee and cookies and figured out where to head off to.
We decided on MK and boy did we make the right choice!! The crowds were very minimal, we didnt wait more then 5 minutes for anything we went on. (we didnt go on any of the thrill rides)
watched the parade I cried as usual!! (DORK) lol
Headed back to the hotel at about 5:30 of coarse went straight to the lounge had some brie,hummus,crackers,pulled pork and wine!! Oh and hubby had beer!! When we went to our room I ws so surprised to find a cake,card,pin adn card for our anniversary (ll years) talk about feeling special!!! After fueling up we headed to Epcot we just walked around had a beer enjoying the atmosphere and taking lots of pictures!! We had just purchased a new digital camera!!
We wanted to make it badck to the room for illuminations because Treveor told us we could see the fireworks from our room!!She was right!~!! It was fantastic!!
We went down to the pool for a swim!! I love this pool!!!!!!!
After our swim we got some to go food at beaches and cream. then called it a night!!!

to be so close to Disney .......that is just the ultimate....thanks so much for your report.......when we were at the Dolphin .....we laid in bed and watched the fireworks......I now know that I am wicked lazy.....thanks again

Yes we got two differnet Yacht club chocolats and yes they were delicious!! I love chcolate!!

Pumba you are not lazy I rather lay in bed watching the fireworks thendealing with crowds!!

I was at BC a week from Aug 22 - 29th.. on the 29th we switched to AKL for 3 nights... who was the prince of thieves? and why was the pool closed?

Oh I arrived on the 29th!! Prince of thieves is a diser who is a life guard at SAB.
The pool was closed because someone pooped in the pool!!!
