When planning a split stay, how do you handle groceries? I'd love to order a bunch of sparkling water, water, iced tea, snacks, bagels etc, but we're doing a split stay. 2cbr/3bc. Anyone have experience with this? If we have a delivery on our very 1st arrival day, do I just save whetever bags our delivery came in, re-pack it all on 3rd day and take a cab with our luggage to 2nd resort? I'm guessing that would be better than giving it to bell svc to transfer. (keep cold items in 1 bag, together?) I've never done any kind of a grocery service, so im not sure how things will be packed to begin with. Or, should I just scrap the idea altogether?

We always have Bell Services move our luggage and our groceries. They will keep perishable items cold during the move and at resort #2 until our room is ready.

It's always been easy as pie.

I would bring a small collapsable bag to put food items in for the move, pack everything in there and/or in bags and send with Bell Services. Just let them know that you have things that need to be kept cold.

then you have an extra bag to pack souvenirs in for the trip home!

......seems so weird---giving bell services our food while we change resorts. But since there really isn't another solution, and---you guys have had luck with it, I may just give it a try. Thank you!

We've done it 6 times with zero issues.

No problem with bell service moving groceries, keep cold items together and they will refrigerate for you.

technical question: how do we arrange for timeframe of delivery from garden grocer if we're not totally sure of what hours we'll be in our room? Can I just ask for a delivery on the morning that we're due to check in? Then, at check in ask bell services to bring our order out? Or, does garden grocer need to deliver it to me in our room, already checked in?

Garden Grocer will deliver to Bell Services. So no need to worry about if you're in the room or not. I always ask for AM delivery no matter when our flight gets in. Then once we're ready we call Bell Services and they bring our order up.

(Is there a sticky on GG delivery or a thread about it that I missed? I'd be happy to read it if there is. Don't mean to bombard with questions if the answers are already out there.

Not that I know of. Please, bombs away. :thumbsup2
