Just wondering if this price varies across areas of the US.

In my area, home daycare averages about $40-$45/day. I'm in Massachusetts.

Yikes. That seems high. Here, home daycare runs about $30 but can be around $20 to $25 depending on the age of the child and the particular provider.

I'm in southern Maine. My 5-year has been in home daycare for 2 years now. At the start of 2017, she raised her rates to $35/day. It had been $30/day. Meals are included (not formula for infants). In two weeks, he is switch to before and after school care. That will be $87 a week.

Just looked and found a place that posted their rates. $33 a day for full time ages 2-5.

Wow, my area is expensive I guess! When we first started needing daycare 4 years ago, we paid $35/day, and that was considered cheap in my area (average was $38-$40). She raised her rates last year to $40. $40-$45/day seem to be the norm around here currently. These are typically for home daycares who are licensed by the state, include breakfast, lunch, & snacks, & take no more than 5-6 kids. Hours vary slightly 7:30am-5:00pm

$70-100/week depending on whether or not they're paying taxes. Missouri
