In honor of our visit to the Grand Floridian & 1900 Park Fare:

Next week at this time, we might be getting ready to head to DHS for morning EMH and a ride on Toy Story Mania! Maybe... :confused3

Or maybe we'll sleep a little later & just head to Animal Kingdom for park opening at 9am. :confused3

Or maybe it will be a combination of both! :goodvibes

Now for the weather, which isn't looking too bad:

Accuweather:

Weather.com (I like this one better ;)):

That weather keeps looking better and better:goodvibes But as long as there is no snow I'll be happy, our snow is finally melting today.

And if you will wake up early with me, I'm all about heading to an EMH at DHS for Toys Story Mania, I really want a chance to ride that. :)

This time next week I'll be waking up with a smile on my face, like I did this morning when I woke up and thought about what I'd be waking up to this time next week.

5 more days and in the words of my children "HOOO HAAAA" which is actually ye haw :rotfl2: (I had the count wrong last night when I posted, I blame it on a draining day-and some excited wishful thinking for days to go by)[/ ok I'm off to get ready for work, something I won't be doing next week at this time ;)

Just thought I'd share this for some perspective on the weather forecast:

Seriously! Sixties & Seventies sound great to me!

Next week at this time we will probably be deciding where to eat our CS lunch... will it be Yak & Yeti or Flame Tree?? (Oooh, I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!)

Kathy

This time next week we will be settling in at the Villa to have Book Talk Time. I'm looking forward to putting my feet up each afternoon for this!

My do list it just about done. My suitcase is packed. TV shows have been downloaded to the ipod for the plane ride. Everything is just about gathered for my carryon which I still need to organize. I have just a few little things left but I'm feeling good about being ready so I can just chill with the kids on Monday.

Halfway packed... working on laundry... supplies laid in for the few days I'll be gone... still slowly packing away tons of Christmas decorations (ugh!)... new Crocs just arrived... and I finished my shirt iron-on!

I scorched the back a little, but you'll have to take me as is; I am not going shopping for another shirt!

Billy is so cute... he kept telling me, "Be careful, it's hot!" when I was ironing.
My sweet boy! :lovestruc

Such a cold, grey day here in Jersey; cannot wait to get some Florida sunshine! :sunny:

You're doing great Kathy!! :thumbsup2

I did a big grocery shopping this afternoon (there'll be a small run on Wednesday to pick up last minute things) and now Tim is working on converting my Mary Poppins & Peter Pan DVDs to digital files so I can watch them on the itouch!

We're headed out to see a movie tonight... True Grit. Not my choice, but Tim really wanted to see it so I told him it was the least I could do since I'll be gone next weekend. I also let him sleep until 10:00 this morning.

Tomorrow's the big house cleaning, laundry & packing day!

Oh... And next week at this time we'll be at 1900 Park Fare!!

Sounds like everyone is winding up their last minute "to-do"s!

We watched the John Wayne version of True Grit New Year's Eve. My husband and his buddy are out in Vegas/Arizona this week and they went to see the new one last night. DH said the original was better - but he is probably prejudiced - he's a huge John Wayne fan!

Looking forward to hearing all about this trip - from the many different perspectives once you're all back!

Ladies your plans sound fantastic!!! I'm wishing you guys the best trip!!!!!

Today I slept in a bit letting my Nyquil work a little longer to help get rid of my nagging cold while George took Demetri to hockey.

I've cleaned all the kids rooms and have laundry going too. :laundy: Ariana's clothes for the four school days are hanging in her closet and every room in the house is now tidy! The next few days will be about keeping it that way.

I'm 95% packed! :thumbsup2 A first for me, I'm typically the night before kinda gal -- with a few things to tuck in once the laundry is done and the last bit of daily toiletries.

I took the tree decorations down (sniff!) .... and the tree will go out tomorrow but I still have the living room Christmas knick knacks to put away.

Dinner is just about ready and soon we'll settle in for the evening watching the Leafs. :goodvibes

FIVE DAYS!!!!!

Sounds exactly like my day! I must've sighed (heavily) at least a hundred times this afternoon while undressing our tree. Didn't disturb Ed enough to get him off the "football couch" to help, though! :rotfl:

Must've done a half a dozen loads of laundry, too.

Hey, you'd better hurry up and ditch that cold... we're going to be roomies, you know! J/K, I should be okay; I had a bad cold right after Christmas so I'm probably immune.

Been sucking on Vitamin C drops for the past several days just in case, however! Hurry up and feel better!

Guess what? We're going to Disney this week!!!!

Will we encounter some rain? How will the temps be?

I'm definitely like the accuweather forecast better!!

But I also decided to check a local forecast for Orlando (news 13). Here's what they have to say:

Thursday - Sunny 75
Thursday night - 57
Friday - 69 with 20% chance of rain
Friday night - 44
Saturday - Sunny 63
(Basically the same as accuweather)

Today's my big cleaning day & hopefully I'll get most of my packing done too! I worked out my transportation last night - DH will be driving me both ways, with DMIL helping out by staying home with the sleeping kiddos!

Oh... and I'm not going to think about what I'll be doing next week at this time because it will be our last day & I'll be getting ready to say good-bye to at least some of the moms :sad2: as we head out on our "do what we want" day! I'm sure it will be a fun day but it will also be our last. :sad1:

But before we have our last day... we have to have our first day!!!
ONLY FOUR MORE DAYS!!!! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

I don't know about all of you but this flew by for me! And I think Monday and Tuesday will as well. I totally forgot that I have to work Monday morning and Tuesday is full with stuff that has to get done. I don't have too much to do today, load of towels (laundry), trip to wal-mart, pay bills, watch the Patriots!

This time next week I hope to be on my way to a nice breakfast before going to a park. But I haven't committed myself to anything and that's exciting for me!

I agree with Heidi - the time has flown by... especially the last month since Christmas. I hope the trip doesn't fly by too!

Trying to stay on top of things... I know it will be crazy on Wednesday night though.

Yes I'm just keeping my head above water right now, but I got A TON done at work yesterday so I won't be worried about work on the trip, Today is take care of things at home day :)

Guess what? We're going to Disney this week!!!!

:dance3::yay: WOOO HOOOO Can't wait, can't believe it,

not really liking that weather forecast, what happened from yesterday to today? :confused3

This time next week I'll get in a couple more thrill rides: not set in stone but I'm thinking Epcot and AK this day for me, I want to end my day at AK because I have a gift card for Rainforest cafe burning a hole in my pocket :cool2: Not thinking about the last part of the day though

And yes, the time between Christmas and now seems to have gone by in a blink of the eye. Can't wait!!!!

I, too, have mixed feelings about our "one week from today." Sunday will be our last day :sad1: but like Heidi, I'm kind of excited about a day without any set plans at all!

I'm so tempted to try something that I've heard other people have done: to wait at the resort bus stop and simply hop on the first bus that comes along! I don't know... do you think a normally obsessive planner like me can do it??

Kathy

I think for me it will come down what I feel that I didn't get enough of (park-wise), factoring in what I might want to do that I can't with my kids and taking into account what the other ladies are doing for the day and if I want to join in on that.

@ Jessica -- you're all set for knowing when you have to be back at the resort for ME pick-up right?

No I've been trying to figure that out, but not sure how I figure that out :laughing:
