Special event for AP for nov 14th??

I received an email today from Disney about being invited to a special event for select APs. It looks like the same thing as the the parade one that they just did.

Any one else get an email like that?

Haven't seen it. Sounds interesting though since it will be Holiday Season, and it could make for easy parade viewing.
 
I didn't get one either, but Al Lutz mentioned it in his update. Apparently, they're sending out invites to a targeted group and if enough people don't respond, they may open it up to the AP holders at large again.
 
Sounds like a great way to kick off the hholiday season!
 

if any one has two extra spots i would love to go... i will be there that day for my birthday.... yes the email is true other boards are talking about people getting the same email... there targeting the people that dont go as much if there is extra room they will send more emails to all groups
 
I got one, but won't be able to use it as I don't have a trip planned until December. My first thought was, "I wonder if I can pass it along to someone on the Disboards who could use it", but, unfortunately, it is not transferable.
 
Drat, we don't get our APs until the 12th. Hoping it opens up to everyone!

We are trying to plan a trip for our girls before christmas time. I wouldn't be able to use this because our girls don't have APS. :( But It would be nice to have some extra time in the parks with out the huge crowds.
 
If anyone has three extra spots, I also would love to go to this event. That is the first full day DW, DGD and I will be there. We'll be activating our APs either that day or on Sunday 11/13. Thanks much!

Hope I get that email! My family just purchased our AP's (though not activated until next Friday) and we'll be there that day. We were working around the park closing at 8:00, but it would be a bonus to stay later as we're leaving the 15th.
 
If I'd get that e-mail you'd hear me scream all across the ocean. :laughing:
 
i got this email and i rsvp'd. They emailed back by saying i have to wait for confirmation.
 
Here is a bump since other posters are mentioning this event but apparently haven't seen this thread.

I hadn't received an email but this thread prompted me to check my junk folder, where there was an invitation waiting for me!
 
Anyone know what rides will be open for this event? Trying to see if i can talk DBF into sneekig a little trip in :)

Have the confirmation emails been sent out yet?

Anyone know how/when the wristbands will be distributed?

Must everyone in your group be present when you get them?
 
I just got my email confirmation for this event... This is how it read:

Congratulations, you are confirmed for our special Holiday Fantasy event on November 14, 2011! As a reminder, you have registered to bring up to three (3) additional Annual Passholders with you as your guests.



The event will officially begin after regular Disneyland® Park hours, and run from 8:00pm through 12:00am. Please read the information below carefully, as it contains important details on event check-in.



Some important details for you and your guests:

· Check-in process:

o Check-in will begin at 12:00pm on the day of the event. We encourage you to arrive early to enjoy “A Christmas Fantasy” Parade and “Believe… in Holiday Magic” Fireworks Show during regular Disneyland® Park hours!

o Please bring this confirmation email to any Ticket Booth in the Main Entrance Esplanade to receive an event wristband.

o Your entire party must check in together prior to park entry, and each person must present a valid Annual Passport.

o As the confirmed Passholder, you must present a valid, government-issued Photo I.D. as verification of your eligibility to register for the event.

· Special menu items will be available to event guests from 4:00pm – midnight at participating dining locations.

· Select attractions, shops, and restaurants will be open throughout Disneyland® Park during this event; availability of these locations is subject to change without notice.

· Parking for this event will be at the Mickey & Friends Structure (appropriate fees will apply during regular Disneyland® Park hours).

· Make this evening an overnight getaway! Click here, or call (714) 781-4567 and ask for rate plan “APH”, to check out available Annual Passholder rates at any one of the 3 Hotels of the Disneyland® Resort. (Guests under age 18 must have parent or guardian permission to call.)
