Special event for AP for nov 14th??

So anyone have any comments on how the event went?
Crowds?
Character interaction?
Special food?
Special entertainment?
Rides, lands open?

Hi all! I did attend this AP event on Monday night. There were different characters out that aren't normally out throughout the year (ex: 5 bears from Bear Country, Scrooge, and Brer Bear/Fox/Rabbit). They had "special food items" that I sadly found out as the evening progressed that Disneyland would be putting on as regular menu items after Monday night for the holiday season. We had Bananas Foster Cheesecake from the French Market and Brownie/Strawberry Skewers drizzled in chocolate and sprinkled in festive Christmas sprinkles from Bengel BBQ. Both desserts were VERY tasty :)

I will post some pictures and a picture of the map later this evening. :)

There was also an AP ornament set they were selling (limit 2), which I believe were $49.95 per set. I didn't think they were worth the money, so we passed on it.

:thumbsup2

As far as the food making it to the regular seasonal menu. Do you think this is true or a rumor?

The lead at the French Market said the Bananas Foster Cheesecake would be a regular menu item for the holiday season.

I went to DCA the next day to satiate my own curiosity about the Brownie Skewers (I had heard someone in line say that they had heard that DCA had these) and saw that the Paradise Garden Grill had something similar: a brownie/strawberry skewer with mini marshmallows, drizzled in chocolate & caramel sauce. I didn't purchase one, but it is on the menu. I will be going to the parks sometime this weekend (and I may get another :goodvibes ) and I will go back and visit Bengal BBQ in Adventureland and see if they still have the item available at that location. I'll let you know for sure.

The brownies were not warm, but the were tasty and moist and drizzled in chocolate. So good! My daughters LOVED them!

Thanks I'd like to know about the brownie square in particular because it's a less tropical desert than say, fruit skewers.

The cheescake could be a good permanent item at CO.

The event was fun, a little more crowded then I thought it would've been, not many food places open and the ones that were had huge lines. princesses with their prince was cool, the villian stage was good as well. Here's a few pics of the map received.....popcorn::

I had a blast. I didn't experience very long lines at all, we ate at Pizza Port had almost no wait at all. Same thing with the rides, longest line we were in was 20 minutes for Star Tours! They had the passholder only Christmas ornaments as well. Here are some of my pics from the event...

I can't figure out the bbcode to make the images show up smaller, please let me know and I'll edit my post as soon as I can!
