Special event for AP for nov 14th??

I just got my email confirmation for this event... This is how it read:
o Check-in will begin at 12:00pm on the day of the event. We encourage you to arrive early to enjoy “A Christmas Fantasy” Parade and “Believe… in Holiday Magic” Fireworks Show during regular Disneyland® Park hours!

I'm a little surprised they are saying show up early to see the parade and fireworks during regular hours. Why not a big piece of entertainment specially for the AP event?

Congrats on the getting the invite to the AP Holiday event. I, unfortunately, did not get that email.......but I'm sure you guys will have a BLAST! I would be interested in seeing if you get access to any special merchandise! Have a great time!!

I got my confirmation for this event too. I was lucky enough to have planned a trip for that time. I was wondering how exclusive ("light crowds") will be, and if its worth it to get my DS to stay up later. I guess from this thread it sounds like most people did not get one, so maybe its worth. Has anyone done a similar event? I wonder which rides will be the select ones that will be open.

The last one was to see Soundsational up close. It was about a month ago. They only opened Main Street, TL and FL so it was similiar to a MM in the parks. But very uncrowed. Walk on everything, plenty of room to view the parades.


This one specifically notes it will be throughout Disneyland. So maybe more people, but more room.

Long ago a rumor was out that they were planned to attract AP holders who, A. live far away, and B. Don't go often. Though it wasn't true for the WoC previewsm or ST previews. Last month it was mostly locals who went as well.

Got my confirmation email yesterday. Still trying to talk DH into taking a quick trip with just us to go see it.

Its funny because I got the email invite and he didn't. we have had our APs since Jan and have go to the park 25days since then. Usually in 2 or 3 day trips.
I hope that if we do go that it would be low crowds.

Posted this before, but let me repeat it.

If anyone has a confirmation that they won't use, I would dearly love to be able to use it for you. We'll be redeeming our AP vouchers on the 13th, and our first full day in the parks will be the 14th.

Are these confirmations transferrable?

Normally go maybe 2 or 3 times a month, more if we go with friends. Maybe we just go to much of course we never get the Disney magazine. But the mother in law gets it all the time.

Any way, she received the comfirmation email today. Totally looking forward to the event next Monday.

You don't get the AP magazine? Is that because your APs all have MIL's address? Does MIL always go with you?
