Special Dining Requests????

I have always heard how accommodating Disney is with special meal requests, but have never had to make any special requests. My kids are basically very good eaters (without allergies) so we can always find something aon any menu that they will eat....

However, I am planning on booking the Princess Tea Party and I think the kid sandwiches are peanut butter and jelly. Well, of all things, my girls won't eat jelly! Absolutely refuse no matter what I try.... I'm wondering if I can request just peanut butter sandwiches (they *love* peanut butter). I hate to be fussy or ask for anythign special, but I do hate the idea of paying $335. to go to the My Disney Girl Perfectly Princess Tea Party and not have them eat what they are served. :scared1:

Any thoughts on this...Has anyone done this? Do you think it will be a problem? I'd love some feedback. Thanks!

You might get a better response under "restaurants" but for $335 you should be able to request anything you want. At that price I definately would be fussy and order the peanut butter without the jelly. When one of my children, a toddler at the time, injured his teeth at Typhoon Lagoon years ago, the wait staff at the Hoop di Do Review went out of their way to bring him all kinds of things to eat that wasn't on menu. You name it, they brought it, from soup to pudding. Things I didn't know they even had. ;)

 Oops. I meant to post under "restaurants" Not sure what I was thinking, but thanks to the moderators for moving it for me :)

That's great that they had so much for your son. I'll try requesting just peanutbutter. Hopefully they will do it. I just felt a little uncomfortable making a special request. We'll see how it goes!

Thanks.

Don't sweat it, SnoWhiteRabbit - something tells me that at those prices, they have had a LOT more demanding requests than "is it possible to get them without jelly". In fact, I bet they are used to making ones with just jelly because so many children have peanut allergies.

Don't feel bad - and in this case, I bet you wouldn't even have to put in a request ahead of time. Can't be that hard to make a jelly sandwich. ;)

N.E.D.

And I thought I was the only mom of a princess who WILL NOT eat jelly on PB!!! ;)

My DS 7 has only ever eaten just PB on his sandwich, I'm glad to hear he's not the only one!

Is peanut butter and jelly the ONLY thing that is on the kids menu??? Disney is getting off cheap!
