Speaking of toilet paper....

I have read many posts about the quality- or lack there of- of the TP at WDW. We just stayed at OKW and the TP was double ply, average,everyday TP. Is this new ? I've never taken any notice of the TP in the past anywhere in WDW and only did so now because on what I've read on the Dis Boards. Quite honestly TP commercials always baffled me because of phrases such as "Soft" and "Absorbant". Why should I care about that ? I only cared about "Strong", but they never talked about that in the commercials. Then suddenly - like an epifinay from heaven- I realized the commercials were meant for women. Anyway, is the TP at WDW below normal commercial standards ? Does Disney use better brands at deluxe resorts ? Should AS guests flock to GF to do their busines ? As DVC members, do we have the right to toilet hop to everywhere but AKL and Y&B ?

Toilet Hopping. It's the new "in" thing to do at Disney for those that have been there, done that. Can't wait for the "T" reports.

Although, I must say that the restrooms at Disney far exceed the standards of any public restrooms I've ever been in. I don't think I've ever seen a dirty or unkept restroom there anywhere!
Of course I could be wrong-haven't tried them all yet!

I've never quite thought of it in terms of "toilet hopping" but I have to admit I love seeing the fixtures and lighting used in the various public restrooms in the hotels. AKL bathrooms are beautiful, bronze fixtures I believe and the use of stonework is incredible. GF is very pretty, very victorian and DL (POR) is cute. I know I'm weird but I also enjoy touring model homes for decorating ideas. Can't say that I've ever gone into the restrooms with the intention of comparing the quality of the toilet paper though...

This is what I love about these threads. No matter how bad your day has been.........you can always find a good laugh here.
I never thought about toilet paper in such a way. I can just imagine making a reservation .......*Would you like the Deluxe, Moderate or the HOME AWAY FROM HOME VERSION.........THE ROLL IS ALWAYS EMPTY WHEN IT IS MY TURN*!!!

My dogs don't know the difference...they'll drink from either if they can sneak by us.

I don't know about hopping, but so long as they don't put 15 minute time limits on toilet use [and maybe put in some nice reading material] I'll stay happy.
