Thanks for posting info about SP. I would love to loose 10 lbs before my December wedding. I eat pretty well and exercise some, but I graduated a year ago and got a desk job. We all know what that means - a few extra lbs. Especially because there's no longer a free (for students) rec center to escape to between classes. Hopefully I can work it all off before our Wedding and Disneymoon. It's great that it's free because DF & I are on a tight budget in order to pay for our wedding and such. We did splurge and contract a fabulous photographer and I would like to proudly display all the photos for the rest of my life. I'll join the group and keep my eye on the prize. Thanks again.

Yep! Which is good for the team as a whole. I get 10 points with each referral. And Mods--the points aren't for anything physical, it's just a motivator for the site and teams. Teams with the most points get featured, but no prozes or anything!

I joined SparkPeople at the end of February after regaining 5 of the 25 I'd lost last summer with DIS-WISH and South Beach. Now I'm down 15 from SparkPeople start so that's a total, since I've bothered to track of 30 - woo hoo. Puts my stall in perspective for me. I'm not calling it a plateau because I know what I am and am not doing that is causing my stall. Hopefully seeing my 30 WISH icon will help remotivate me ;) See you over at SP as MSNEmommy with the signature WDWfanLinda. Better log off and go to bed or I won't get the point for my 8 hours of sleep goal...

I just joined as well. It's one thing to be doing well with my running but I need to get my diet up to par.
 
I joined Spark in April and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! I am a lifetime WW member but counting points was not working for me anymore. With Spark I have lost 9 pounds PLUS I am learning how to make these chnages an everyday thing and just not temporary. I am more addicted to Spark than even the DIS.
 
Laurie -- I am so glad to hear someone else say POINTs didn't work for them anymore. I lost 25 lbs. on WW, but for some reason it just didn't seem to help this time. I think it's because I use all my points on junk, and don't get any protein. I am getting a more realistic look at my overall diet, and it's not just helping my waist, it's helping my moods. I think I must be "carb-sensitive", 'cause if I let myself that would be all I'd eat...
