SPACE COAST MARATHON & HALF MARATHON
RACE START - 6:00 AM
PACKET PICKUP & REGISTRATION
Packet pickup will be available starting Monday, Nov. 23rd through Wednesday, Nov. 25th (closed Thanksgiving Day) at Running Zone from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm. Running Zone is located at 3680 N. Wickham Road. For Directions, visit Running Zone or call (321) 751-8890.
Late Registration and Packet Pickup will also be available at the Health First Health Plans Health & Fitness Expo at the Maxwell C. King Center during Expo Hours:
Expo Hours: Friday, Nov. 27th 10:00 am - 7:00 pm
Saturday,Nov. 28th 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Late Registration & Packet Pickup will also be available at the Radisson Resort on Saturday from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm. Registration closes Saturday evening at 7:30 pm. Packet pickup starts at 4:30 am by request only on race morning in Cocoa Village. No Race Day Registration.

CHRONOTRACK TIMING
We are using Chronotrack for timing our Event. The D-Tag is attached to the back of your Custom Race/Bib #. Make sure to attach the D-Tag to your shoe. There are detailed instructions in your Race Packet.

Our keynote speaker, Jeff Galloway will have several appearances throughout the weekend. Listed below are the times and locations on Saturday, Nov. 28th:

SPECIAL GUEST APPEARANCE: As part of the pre-race dinner festivities, we have a very special guest. Mike McCulley, a former astronaut and CEO of United Space Alliance, will also speak at the dinner. Mr. McCulley flew on Space Shuttle Mission STS-34 in 1989 and has logged a total of 119 hours and 41 minutes in space. Mr. McCulley will also be part of the Awards Ceremony on Sunday morning.

Located at 3865 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne, Florida 32935 on the Melbourne Campus of BrevardCommunity College. From I-95, take the Wickham Road Exit (Exit 191) heading south on Wickham Road. The KingCenter is approx. 7 miles off the I-95 on Wickham Road at the corner of Post Road.

Located at 434 Delannoy Ave, Cocoa, Florida 32922. From Interstate 95, take Exit 201 East on to State Road 520 for 4 miles. Turn right on Florida Ave. The actual address of Cocoa Riverfront Park is 434 Delannoy Avenue in Cocoa, Florida.
Directions from the Radisson Resort to Race Site The Radisson is located at 8701 Astronaut Blvd, Cape Canaveral, FL, 32920. Exit south on SR A1A for approximately five miles. Turn right on SR 520. Approximately 6.5 miles you will cross the Indian River Causeway Overpass. You may then turn left on Florida Ave. or Hughlett Ave just west of the race site.
Directions to the Radisson Resort: (321) 784-0000 (PRE-RACE DINNER & PRESENTATION) Located at 8701 Astronaut Blvd, Cape Canaveral, FL, 32920. The Radisson Resort is north of SR 520 on A1A. Heading north on A1A from SR 520, the Radisson Resort is approximately 5 miles north on the west side of A1A.
Parking:
There will be parking available adjacent in Riverfront Park, in the Cocoa Village Public Parking area and Sun Bank (SR 520 between Brevard & Delannoy). The Cocoa Library is also available for parking until 1:00 pm. There's additional parking on the streets in Cocoa Village. (see enclosed course and area maps)To get to the START LINE from Cocoa Village, proceed west to Brevard Ave. The start of the race is on the corner of Brevard Ave. and SR 520. Please be at the Start no later than 5:45 am.
Pre-Race Dinner at the Radisson Resort
The pre-race dinner is from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm at the Radisson Resort in Cape Canaveral. Your dinner ticket (s) are included in your race packet if you purchased a dinner ticket in advance. Please bring your ticket as you will need it to enter the pre-race dinner. Seating is available at any time during the 2 hour period. Also, you can purchase dinner tickets at the pre-race dinner that evening.
Bus Shuttle Service
We will be providing a free bus service on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from the host hotels to/from the Health & Fitness Expo, the Radisson Resort for dinner Saturday evening and to/from the race site on Sunday morning. If you are staying at any of the hotels on the beach or live beachside, you can utilize the shuttle service in lieu of driving to the race site. Family members and friends are welcome to utilize the buses as well! For more details, please see the enclosed Bus Schedule in your sealed race packet.

Bag Check
In your race packet is a draw string bag that can be used to store your belongings during the race. Your personal information is already attached to your bag. The Bag Check area is on the north end of the Pavilion in Riverfront Park. (Area Map)
Start Corrals & Pace Teams (New this Year)
You can sign up to be part of a Pace Team to help achieve your goal! More information about Pace Teams will be available at the Health & Fitness Expo. There will be 7 pace signs displayed along the Start Corral Area. Please line up according to your expected race pace per mile at the start area on Brevard Ave before 5:45 am.
Aid Stations
There are 14 aid stations on the course with sports drink (Gatorade Endurance) and water. Gu's will be available at mile 8 and every aid station on Rockledge Drive (full marathon course on Rockledge Drive).
Race Course Safety
The race course will be open to resident traffic. So please run on the left side of the road. Traffic at intersections will be controlled by volunteers but please be careful and watch for traffic. There will be police support and volunteers on the course. PLEASE be aware of vehicular traffic. This course is used frequently by runners and cyclists. Be SAFE!
Pancake, Egg & Sausage Breakfast
All finishers receive a complimentary pancake, egg & sausage breakfast and/or Pizza. You must show your race number as proof of participation. Extra breakfast tickets are available for $5.00 for family & friends on site (cash only)
Awards Ceremony
The Half Marathon Awards Ceremony will start at 9:00 am and the Marathon Awards Ceremony will start at 11:30am at Riverfront Park Pavilion. Mr. Galloway, our keynote speaker and Mike McCulley, former President and CEO of United Space Alliance will be part of the Sunday morning ceremonies.
