SOOZE Return of the Band Geeks! What's Next Update! p.25 10/10

Here we see Shaelyn modeling not only an adorable Princess nightgown, but her new sparkly purple toes:

I am NOT a big toenail painting person (I have horrible feet from years of dancing and winter guard, so I hide them as much as possible!), but I joined in on the purple sparkly fun!!
P1050625.jpg

Can't wait to put these puppies in that freaky clown-face pool at the Boardwalk!!!

Our day will begin with a Cape May Cafe character meal. We haven't enjoyed this place since 2005, so we are looking forward to seeing old friends!
BCGoofy2-11-06.jpg

And, of course, we are looking forward to a great breakfast!!

After our meal, I may head back to DHS for my audition at AIE. Which song should I sing?!
P1050288.jpg

Matt and the kids will either hang out at BWV or head to the park of their choosing, which I assume will be here:

We will all have to take a long afternoon nap, because this evening is devoted to:
P1030857.jpg

And our FIRST EVER time seeing:
P1010441.jpg

Then we will drag ourselves back to MK to see how long we can stay awake!!

Your Disney Pedicure turned out great. Next Sunday looks like it is going to be a action packed fun day.

Good Luck on the AIE audition, go with a Disney song. Maybe this year you will not be on stage with someone that made it through the real audition. We want a lot of pictures of your AIE experience.

Thanks! I wish I was talented enough, or had enough time, to get some cute Mickey heads on our big toes... wouldn't that be cute?!

I think I'm going to stick with my same audition song, but if I make it into the "Coke Lounge", I'm going to look into singing Part of Your World from The Little Mermaid. It would make Shaelyn's day (and mine too, I'll admit) to hear me sing that on a Disney stage!! Their selection of "Disney" music is pretty lame. There are SO many great songs from the movies, yet they keep putting out the Radio Disney garbage... blah!

Don't worry, my camera is coming with me this time! I'll get lots of shots!

Cute pictures! I love the purple nail polish. Your trip is so close! Have you started packing yet?

:love:Love the pedicures! They are adorable. Your daughter is sooo cute!

:wizard:Good luck on AIE! You are so brave!

Let me know about Cape May. I do not have a breakfast booked this trip but thought about adding it the day Jeremy does the Albatross Cruise from the Yacht Club.

Can't wait for tomorrow's update!

Erika

P.S. I sent you a PM.

Thanks! and YES!! We have started packing:yay: We have a VERY busy week with rehearsals and a band concert (of course), so we got most of the packing done yesterday!!!

Thank you! Shaelyn keeps showing everyone her Disney toes! It's the little things, eh!?
We have done Cape May in the past, and we absolutely loved it! Great food, and excellent character interaction. Since this isn't one of the more 'popular' breakfasts, it didn't seem that crowded, and the characters spent gobs of time at our table. This is a much busier time of year, so I'll let you know how it goes!

cant wait for your next AIE experience!:thumbsup2

Me neither! Now that I know what to expect, I think I'm going to enjoy it that much more... if I get past the auditions that is...:worried:

We will start our day visiting the princesses in the castle. We've heard they serve a pretty decent breakfast in here:

Shaelyn will think she has died and gone to heaven:
P1040674.jpg

We will make a quick exit from MK (After having been there until the wee hours the night before) and head over to:
P1030810.jpg

I'm sure we'll spend lots of time digging and playing in the boneyard, and riding Expedition Everest (MY FAVORITEST DISNEY RIDE!!!) as much as we can.

But, of course, since we are band geeks, we will HAVE to catch our two AK shows:

Florida16.jpg

Dean, Adrianna, and Abby have never seen Finding Nemo. We are looking forward to sharing one of our favorites!

We hope to catch this... we've never taken time to see it:
IMG_2483.jpg

Not sure if we'll make it, or if we'll want to stick to our afternoon rest at the resort routine!

Whatever the case may be, we will end up back at AK for EMH. Hoping to see the Flights of Wonder show (I think Ty would love it), catch a ride on the safari, and squeeze as many EE rides in as Matt will allow!

Happy Monday everyone!

3On a downer note... we have been struggling with illness in the house this week. Shaelyn had to miss almost the whole week of school with a nasty cold turned ear-infection. When they put her on amoxicillin ,she had a horrible reaction. Turns out she suddenly developed a penicillin allergy. What is that about?! :sad2:
 I completely commiserate - I discovered I'd developed an allergy to penicillin at 7 months pregnant! Is she starting to feel better?

Please send good vibes our way that we can all shake this by the time Thursday rolls around. :goodvibes I'm just assuming we are sick now so we can feel fabulous while we are in Disney!!
::yes:: Get it out now, so you all can enjoy a healthy trip! :thumbsup2

Can I put in a vote for that, too?! ;) Yep, I'm heading over! I'll drop you a note with more... :yay:

the plans for the week ahead sound great, and you guys will all be feeling better by wednesday

Sooze:

You will love the AK parade. It is one of our favorites. We always watch it close to Pizzafari. There are usually some nice benches around there to sit on or some nice shade to sit on the pavement.

Also, AK evening EMH are wonderful if you can do them. We did them in November 2008. It is almost like they "pump" a fog into the park, especially near Asia. It was so eerie walking through there. Plus, it is not crowded and we were literally by ourselves walking in the park most of the time. One other plus, Expedition Everest is amazing at night. The tree of life is gorgeous in the evening! Oh, we also went before the park closed and watched the last NEMO show and then went straight to FOTLK during EMH. It was not crowded and you did not have to wait in the heat. Can you tell I like AK? :yay::

Love the picture with Cinderella. How precious!

Can't to wait to hear today's plan a week from now.

Erika

I love the two shows at AK. My DH is not a thrill ride person, so we usually go to the Safari first then plan the rest of the day around the two shows, the parade and lunch. The bird show is also fun. Then we fit the trails in during off times.

Joining along! I love your "This time next week..." updates! :goodvibes
Welcome!! Of course, you join on the day I bailed on my update!:sad2: Tuesdays are just ridiculous for me! Sorry!!

Add EE to your list, and that's pretty much our day too! Oh... and that boneyard place. The kids love it in there!:thumbsup2

Nemo one of my favorite musicals.

 Me too!! Just can't wait to hear "Just Keep Swimming" and "Go With the Flow" live again!!

Today will be a REJUVENATE day! We will sleep in, and hopefully attempt our first try at this:
Disney2008042.jpg

Have any of you been mini-golfing at Disney? Do you have a course preference? Any thoughts!?:confused3

Hopefully, we can do some pool time today as well:
Disney_BoardWalk_Villas_Pool.jpg

The weather forecast looks SUPER AMAZING for our stay, but the temps will be upper 70s. To me, that's not swimming weather. But I may suck it up for the kiddos and just be a bit chilled.

What does the evening hold for us? Another FIRST time experience:
IMG_0404.jpg

I know all about the pretzel bread and cheese soup. Any other suggestions?
:confused3

We will wrap things up with a relaxing Illuminations, then our FAVORITE walk around WS to our International Gateway to home!

Another off morning will greet us today! A leisurely breakfast at home following a nice sleeping in morning! :cloud9:

Our biggest adventure today will be:
Teppan-Edo-400.jpg

An entertaining lunch OR dinner with our friends!! Lunch OR dinner? Yeah... I went ahead and made double ressies. Shame on me, I know. But I thought we'd want to have some flexibility this day. Don't worry, I'll call and cancel whichever one we don't use!

There are EMH at DHS tonight. I haven't battled the crowds for this in a long time:
Fantasmic.jpg

But I'm sure the kids would enjoy seeing it, and there are two shows on this night, so it'd be a good time to go.

Also hoping for several rounds on TSM... we shall see how that works out!

ONE MORE SLEEP TIL WE LOAD UP THE CAR!!
:dance3::dance3::dance3:
