OKAY- MY TURN.

I am a Republican. Dyed in the wool.
I no longer drink any alchohol.
I live in suburban Maine, until 3 years ago lived in Suburban NH.
I have now been married 8 years to a guy I have been together with for 18 years. We have no children.
I like to watch football, baseball and enjoy Nascar.
Used to watch Basketball until the whole thing went downhill-just my opinion. (Celtics fan)
Sometimes watch hockey. Well, the fights really.
I think I am boring.
I like museums and stuff like that.
I like to cook and bake.
Oh, and I like this thread. and the homies on it.

Alison - thanks for the reminder! My kids' high school mascot is a Pirate, so it's a good day for them. Wish I'd remembered and had them wear some Pirate shirts today (Disney, Big Dog, or school ones!).

First of all, I noticed that YOU didn't share wedding pics. I wanna see what a hair person does to themselves on their wedding day.

oh....you noticed that, didja? Wellllll..... a hair person such as myself, gets her maid of honor (a/k/a "best friend like a sister) who is also a hairstylist to do her hair. I had it all in curls and the sides pulled up so you could see my earrings..... maybe I find you a pic

We could share pregnancy and newborn pics? The guys would get left out of that one too, but since they didn't cough up any wedding pics, I don't think they'll care.

yep....one way to REALLY scare the guys off....pregnancy! I hope nobody is offended, but I really think most newborns look the same Maybe it's the trauma and "puffiness" associated with it...but, I think they do (yes...even my kid )

Btw...cashed that lottery ticket today Decided to buy a videocamera w/ hard drive in it.... Of course, shopping around for exactly what we (ahem, DH) wants, then we'll buy it when it goes on sale! Also, just finished installing motion detector...will test it tonite. If all works well, the first time it comes on, I'm gonna freak out

It's been raining all day today due to a "tropical disturbance" off the coast. The coastal areas are REALLY getting it. I took a couple hours off this afternoon that's why I'm home.

Yeah I know...we have a 50% chance of rain through the weekend but as you well know...it depends on where you are if you're in the rain area.

I'm jealous of your weather...for now.

It's supposed to be in the upper 80's through the weekend and I'm sure the humidity will return once the showers end.

You can definately tell the weather is changing as it's getting cooler at night than a few weeks ago and the humidity is slowly leaving us!

Doncha know that a rainy day in Florida is better than ANY day at home (ie: Pennsylvania right now) ...So, in my book, a rainy day in Florida is better than a nice day pretty much in any other state! It's been SO cold, some people are already putting heat on. Florida peeps don't need heat till when.... Oct? Oh, and you won't be jealous of my and my stinkin' state and weather when I tell you: we just bought heating oil for the winter.....$1200. As a person who is constantly cold, PA is the wrong state for me....counting my days till I move to Fla.....

I think we have just about decided on the June 22-26 for our next trip to USO/IOA! It looks like it will work with our schedules. The last two vacations, we have taken 2 weeks off and did USO/IOA and WDW, but I think we're going to skip Disney altogether this time. It doesn't look like we're going to be able to take that much time away from work this year.

Next, move your mouse over the link in the email. While your mouse is over the link, it should display what internet address the link will take you to. Does the internet address look familiar? Legit? That's at least a starting point.

*i don't drink beer...unless it's a Corona, Land Shark, Heiniken or Coors - if you buy me a shot of peach schnapps to wash it down.

*i'll drink cheap red wine, asti and top shelf vodka, tequilla & rum ; usually no more than a few drinks couple times a month. I am the designated driver, DH has a CDL & his limit is 1/2 the normal driver's.

*all sports, all the time here...football, hockey - you name it. Have never sat thru more than 5 min. of Nascar; not my thang.

*democratic committee woman (vote early, vote often lol); yet vote my heart outside the primary. I'm big on registering voters, don't care who you vote for; just make the effort.

*western PA all my life, except for few years as child in Tampa area

*dated ex since i was 14 ; married @ 20 & divorced by 30.

*soon as ink was dry on decree married love of my life, celebrated 15 years on valentines day he treats my 2 older sons as his own.

* my 3 DS are 27, 14 & 21 (the one i currently feel like locking in his room until he comes to his senses).

I think it's a hoax. When I right clicked on link and clicked view source, I didn't recognize the site address. It was disneyvactrip4u dot com, not posting a link, cuz I don't want anyone to take a chance.
