Soarin' and size concerns

How is Soarin's seats for 'at large' ppl? The pictures on Debs site makes it look like the seats are tiny. lol TIA!

I'm probably not the best person to answer this, but I don't think the seats are 'tiny', they just aren't all that generous, either. My DH says he can feel the side of the seat against his thighs at times, and he's a pretty slim individual by anyone's standards.

That said, my mother is a 'traditionally built' woman and she had no problem with the seats.

Dont worry about it. Im 5'10 300lbs and have no problems at all getting into soarin.

5'1", 215 lbs. Rode it 5 times in May and 3 times in December!! My favorite new ride. Go and enjoy.

I am a pooh sized woman and had no problems. If you can fit into an airline seat you will be fine and then some since the belt extends very far out. Also my fil, cousin and aunt are all very large people who are also tall and they had no problems. I have ridden this ride too many times to count at both DCA and Epcot and have never seen anybody not fit just fine. Ride and enjoy it! I would say the seats are more generous than say TOT which has somewhat similar seats.

I'm big too, and really enjoyed the feeling of floating along - I didn't feel big at all on this one!

I had the worst fears that I would not fit into this seat. I followed all the advice that the DIS boards offered (pull the seat belt out first and THEN sit down) and had the ride of my life! I was so nice and I enjoyed it so much. Thanks to Disney for recognizing that all of us Pooh-size people like to be a part of the magic

I just asked my pooh size husband and he said go for it he had plenty of space. He loved soarin.

I am pooh size 26 and big hips no problem fitting in the seats went 2 times on Soarin! Love the ride! Have a great time!
