I paid $22 more on mine..I had %off deal before and was not going to change it but thought the photobook was worth the extra $22.

Yes, a photo book on Snapfish is around $30 + shipping so $22 is a good deal on the book. :thumbsup2

Our party of five adults and three children saved almost $1,000.00! Yae!

And we are getting the photo book. The funny thing is I probably have 1,000 Disney Photos floating around my house that never got into the Creative Memories Albums I was going to make (as soon as we got home) and maybe now I will have a nice keepsake! :cool1:

Looking forward to September - it's still snowing here in MN in the morning!

Party of four, all considered adults, booked for May and we saved about 1600.00!! That's about 200.00 a day for 8 nights= $1600.00. :cool1:

I can't wait to get there to eat!!:rotfl2:

CSR 5 adults, 2 rooms= total savings=approx $500
We will take it!!!!:cheer2:

* now thinking of upgrading to WL! it's available for our dates we will check it out!!:surfweb::rolleyes1

25% off the room - Around $1945
New FD Package - Around $1621

That's a savings of $324! Which I love!

Will be even more of a savings if my two little sisters are able to join us!

I'm looking forward the the photobook also. I bought the photopass cd and still haven't done anything with it. So at least the book I can look at and enjoy.

Congrats on all of the savings. Some of you have huge ones.

We are family of 5: me, DH, DD14, DS12, DS5 so we need 2 rooms
We are going to Universal at least 1 day, so we only want 3 day WDW tickets

PLAN A
I've got 2 rooms booked at Pop, 6 nights
rack rate is $85 X2 rooms =170 per night ($1020)
MYW 3 day tickets NON hopper $1167
FREE DINING
total$2,618 (this is the price quoted from WDW--includes tax on room and tickets)

OR

PLAN B

Room only resservation-- still rack rate--same cost ($1020)
A discount might come out later, not holding my breath though.

I already have a 3 day ticket for myself. Then I can buy FL Resident 3 day, NON hopper for the rest of my family, (which is cheaper, than the MYW required with the package) $527

total $1547 (plus tax) plus the cost of food
-------------------------------

PLAN A $2618 - PLAN B $1547 = $1071

As long as I spent less than $1071 on food, its cheaper to go with plan B. We would eat pop tarts in the room for breakfast and would do counter service type meals anyway. The photo book would be nice, but its not a deal maker or breaker in my opinion.

have I got it straight?

HEY GUYS i HAVE A QUESTION. I HAD HEARD THAT YOU COULD COMBINE TWO QUICK SERVICE MEALS FOR ONE TABLE SERVICE MEAL IS THIS TRUE?

Yes, I guess you can eat for cheaper than that if you do mostly CS. If you are talking 2 meals per person per day it comes out to roughly $17 per person per meal and I don't think you would spend that unless you are going to be doing a bunch of TS. It definately leaves room for snacks too.

HEY GUYS i HAVE A QUESTION. I HAD HEARD THAT YOU COULD COMBINE TWO QUICK SERVICE MEALS FOR ONE TABLE SERVICE MEAL IS THIS TRUE?

No. Some people have reported being able to use a TS credit for a CS meal or converting CS or TS into snacks but it's always a downgrade, you can never trade up.

So how do you figure savings? If you were going to pay full price for room(s) and pay for tickets and buy a photobook and pay for a dining plan, then your "savings" would be the amount of the dining plan? You can't "save" money on something you weren't going to pay for in the first place, can you?

Our savings is about $241. We were originally booked under the kids stay and play for free offer. We had also added the dining plan. That was costing us $2614.78. By keeping everything the same (same room, same tickets, and having the dining plan) and changing to the free dining offer, we now are paying $2373.38. So obviously we are saving money by switching over!

Yes, if you were going to pay for the dining plan anyway then you are saving the cost of the dining plan.

If you were going to pay for the dining plan but not buy the photobook, your total cost under the new promo is what you were paying before, minus the dining plan ($$$), plus the photobook ($).

If you were not going to get the dining plan or the photobook, you were going to pay OOP for food.....which you don't have to do if you get free dining.

So anyway you look at it, you are saving money....assuming that you had no discounts in the first place.

My original price was 5241.36 (with dining included..not free) When I called yesterday they said my new total was 3420.42...so..that balances to 1820.94.

So definately worth it for us.
