So frustrated at the limitation of online re: resale

So angry! I am a bkue card emeber drom whe there was one and only Disney Vacation Club. Ihave since quadrupled my original 350 points via resale. I am so frustrated and tired that the outsourced BS IT system wil not let me borrow points from a resale contrat to book a room.
I am over the moon excited that my new family wants to go in April but I could not confirm with them tonight because I can't borrow online from my resale contract.
Alarm set in the morning but it is BS that resale MUST call member services. ALL of us pay for that in our dues. It's either BS or IT ineptitude - both a equally probable.
 
It’s weird.. I have both resale/direct points with no issues on borrowing/banking…

I have had issues only with transferred points…but I work around it by calling MS and book anything with them and then I can do modifications online…

Hope you can figure out what is the issue …

I have no idea what a “bkue card emeber drom” is or was, but I have always been able to borrow from my resale contracts online.

Maybe there is something else going on with what you are trying to book and you should take a breath and make a phone call.

Also, be nice to member services.

You are leaving out an important point somewhere in your post, because based on what you've posted, there is no reason that it shouldn't work. Direct vs resale is not a factor in borrowing points. And it works for everybody else, so it's unlikely that an IT glitch would single you out - not impossible, but unlikely.

And as @AstroBlasters said, please be nice to the CM's. It's not their fault either way.
 
This must be account specific because there is no restriction to borrowing from resale online.

Back in 2020, when they changed the limit, there was some issue, but that was fixed once we went back to 100%.

I just borrowed points from a resale contract a few weeks ago without issue.

In this example, All one ID. Three contracts - only needed to borrow from the resale one. I used the direct for booking a studio but had to wait for MS to open to book the 2 bedroom. Alas, my family didn't confirm in time to get a GV.

Did they say why it wouldn't let you do it?
 
I am feeling this now because I've been on hold forever trying to buy OTU points from member services i wish you could just buy online ugh. Had to fake a reservation so they system would hold it and spit it out again half hour later lol that has worked for me a couple times but annoying we have to do that
