Man, I love disneyland/world, but it sucks that none of my friends are into it like i am, 20 year old male college students aren't usually high on disney. anyways, it seems everyone on this bored goes at least once a year, and always is planning there next vacation. I think its been about 3 years since i last went, and it will probably be at least another year before i have a chance at going. bah, any other deprived people like myself?

To the OP - float around on the DIS for a while, I bet you'll find a lot of people like yourself that are just as into Disney as you are. If you make some friends, maybe you can get a group together and take a long weekend trip or something. The more people you get together the cheaper it could be and would be a lot of fun.

I sometimes feel the same way...that no one is as into Disney as I am. But, you'll find that other people are...you just have to look in the right places...like on the DIS...we're all crazy up in here!!!

I feel that way too. I am a 20 year old female college student, and no one else (except maybe one person who was in the CP) shares the same enthusiasm for Disney as I do. The last time I went was in December 2003. I could almost go to Disney for free (or for like, $6) with the Disney Rewards dollars I have saved up from my Disney credit card. I just need someone to go with. I'm the type of person who goes to movies and shopping by myself, but I dunno if I would want to go by myself to Disney.

I do that when ever I can You get to get on what you want and where you want to go.
In april I played paintball at WWoS as I've done for the last 3years and none of my new teammates liked or could afford to do the parks .
I went to US IOA everyday got a great deal on 5day pass and MK on my last day We didn't play .I'm also an early riser 6am wheather I need to or not most days on Vac I just go and When DW & DD wake ,eat and head out They hit me on the NEX and we meet.
Most times at the parks alone you get to meet people on the rides of like interest and end up heading from ride to ride anyhow.

I'm a 21 year old (female) college student who just went on a trip with my best friend last year, and we had a blast! Stayed on site, did character meals, tons of dorky pictures, the whole nine yards.. While most of our girl friends thought it was a cool idea, the guys didn't get it so much. My recommendation: Find some enthusiastic girls that you're friends with to go, and I bet the boys will eventually follow, especially if the price is right. Not to make gender stereotypes, but I think this one is fairly valid.

i always find that guys HATE the idea of Disneyland/world... but once they've actually been i've never met one single person who didn't love it! you gotta drag 'em along.. they'll be wearing mickey ears in no time!

meeee.. I am (just turned today) 30 and my family thinks I'm a bit odd .. tho they love it.. that I"m as obsessed as I am... my (now ex fiance) and I went the beginning of sept and I loved it and he didn't "get it".. he said it was fun but he wouldn't go back for a few years. When I was little we basically went every year.. now I have gone 2 times int he past 11 years and likely, with not much $$ or people who want to go with me... it probably wont' be a while again.

Yes, I love Disney and the last time I went was before I became pregnant with my first child in 2000. Since then I have had another child so it is not in the cards for me to go for another few years. I am looking at going with my kids in 2007 when they are 5 and 3. I am actually considering joining DVC once the kids get old enough to go so I have an excuse to go every other year at least! I'm not sure I can afford it though.
