Well said Meghan! I've read some wild posts here on the DIS. Amazing how brave people are when behind a computer screen.

I'm battling the Disney slump too. It's hitting me hard. I wish I could be planning another trip but right now it's not looking too promising. We have lots going on and I wish I could just run away to Disney to escape it all sometimes. My FIL starts his chemo this morning and we are praying that it doesn't make him too sick. On the bright side, I have an easy day today. 2 daycare kids are out and the other 2 won't be arriving until around 10. God must have known I needed a little break today.

Pluto_fan-Way to go on 500 posts!!! I guess I'm a bit DIS obsessed because I don't even know how many posts I have anymore!!! It's probably a bit embarrassing! I can't wait to hear about DLP. I'm reading another TR about DLP and it's so different!

Kim-I hope everything goes well with your FIL's chemo today.

I'm officially going crazy. If Disney doesn't offer FD (or some other fall discount) soon, I really thing my head is going to start spinning. I figured they wouldn't release anything yesterday, but after reading all the code threads, I got up early anyways. Nothing. Did the same thing today and again, there's nothing. However, there is some other room only discount being offered for stays through 8/14. Are you serious? How many discounts has Disney offered for that time period. Way too many!!! I'm losing my mind!!

I am going to try and narrow down our October trip this weekend.... we will be using our daughters college program discount... which I believe is 50% off rooms and dining.... so I am thinking that might be better than free dining.... not sure... gotta play around with a spread sheet to figure it out.... I hope your FD comes soon....

I've been running on hardly any sleep these past few days. I don't know how much longer I can take!! I think that 50% off room AND dining would be so much better than free dining. But I guess it depends on where you stay. For us, FD will save us over $600. The room only pin that I currently booked with is only saving us a little over $200 at Pop.

How long should I expect to be at Boma for dinner??? We have a 4:30 ADR on a Saturday.

Thanks for celebrating with me! I see everyone else's post counts in the thousands (cough*Shelly*cough ) and think I should get busy! I read a lot but don't post all that much, I guess. It's harder with a little person climbing in my lap!

Sheree--we've still never been to Boma. It's always on my short list but we just haven't done it. We usually only eat a couple of table service (or buffet) meals per trip, and everyone always votes to go back to Biergarten.

I'm debating whether to do a real trip report on the DLP section of the DIS, or just post my restaurant and hotel reviews on the threads there and tell you guys about my trip. I'm afraid I would run out of steam on a TR, and plus I really should be working on our income tax instead...

We have been to BOMA a few times (its yummy)... once your seated I would say you can be out of there within an hour.....because its a buffet there is not waiting for your meal to come.... you just need to wait in between plates to give your tummy time to settle.... if they have the squash soup try it.... its great.....

Hello all, I needed a break from Algebra so I thought I would pop over and say "hello".
To say it's been crazy around here is a big understatement. So much so that I have totally stopped thinking about the posibility of a WDW any time soon. Which put me in a Disney Depression, and that has kept me away from the boards. DH has learned a lot from his dad and thinks it's going to be something that he will be able to do easily. The boys had a great Spring Break. We went to Six Flags over Texas one day and had a lot of fun. We had to force John on several rides that we thought he would like, and he did like all the ones we took him on. While waiting for one ride his reasoning for not wanting to ride it was, "roller coasters are bad for the environment and I don't want to do anything that is bad for the environment."
I've been doing good in my current class. I had been putting off my first test (which I can b/c it's a self paced class). I took it this last weekend and made a 96 on it. I should have gotten a 100, though. The answer to the question was -4/3 and I put -1 1/3. Even though it's the same answer, the computer put it as wrong.
Well I'm going to get caught up on this thread and then get back to Algebra.

Hey Wookie!! Nice to hear from you! Sorry you don't have any Disney plans for a while, but I'm glad you are doing well otherwise.

I always feel bad when people get that disney depression and feel they have to stay away from the boards. I totally understand, but wish it wasn't that way because I like to chat and hear how people are doing whether it's Disney-related or not. I'm such a social (and nosy my DH would say).
