Bought my wife a new 2020 Camry Hybrid on Saturday July 4, 2020 during "Toyotathon". Before the chip shortage, we were one of two customers on the lot packed with cars. The dealer was dying for customers at that point of the Pandemic. Traded in a Mountaineer we bought new 20+ years before.
My car is a 2018 Flex, bought new in June 2018. Traded in a Suburban we had bought new 31+ years earlier.
Given our age, 65, and being retired, and that we keep cars nearly forever, we may never buy another car in our lifetimes. Just finished a 4,000 mile road trip in the Camry, and it still only has 17,000 miles on it, and the Flex has 19,000 miles on it.
