Besides dyed hard boiled eggs,
the big Easter tradition around here has been Hot Cross Buns. Spiced buns with a cross on them, the cross often made of lemon curd. They usually have raisins and candied fruit (like you find in fruit cake in them. They are eaten traditionally at the end of Lent. The cross on top, and spices all carry religious symbolism related to Easter.
All the chain grocery stores and bakeries here carry Hot Cross buns this time of year.
