Single best thing about DVC

For me, it's not having to beg my DH if we can go back again. Now I just ask "which month do you prefer?" we now get to go to disney at least twice a year :hyper:

The best thing is we HAVE to go to WDW! Don't need to convince DW first, don't need to ask "can we afford it this year", no need to consider possible alternative destinations. Just make the reservations! Before we joined DVC we went 9 years between WDW vacations, and didn't really go anywhere else either. Never again.

You guys have summed it up perfectly -

-Saving $$$$ on rooms, and getting "Deluxe" accomodations...
-The jacuzzi tub in the one bedrooms...
-Being able to wash clothes in my room if i'm a clutz and spill coffee on my white tshirts....
-We can use our points all over the country!!!

-Being a part of this group of people who love Disney as much as I do... and know that they won't go "Disney AGAIN!?" when I tell them where we're going... :)

SO many reasons....

We just got back yesterday from our second trip home since becoming members. The best thing for us is that the 2-bedroom villas really makes it a more relaxing atmosphere on vacation. Our 14 year old can have his own side to get away and relax and my husband and I get a little more quality down time and go home more relaxed and actually feel like we've been on vacation.

HEARING "WELCOME HOME".....................

:bounce:  :bounce:  :bounce:  :bounce:  :bounce:

For us, the single best thing is that it forces us to take vacations. Before DVC, we would take a day or two here and there all year, but never really get away from work. Now we take two 12-day vacations each year. It does us a world of good! :sunny:

Love the bigger rooms and suites. A 2-bedroom at out DVC home costs outsiders more per night than we pay in annual dues!

The rooms. I would not travel to Disney as much if I had to share a standard hotel room with my to kids now that they are older. I need my privacy.

"Oh, we have to use this timeshare.... Would you like to go with us, or it'll just go to waste".

Not True, but couldn't get Grandparents to let us pay their way before... Now, they are "doing us a favor"....

Has worked too well, almost... now we have 3 contracts. LOL.

Goldi.

Going to OKW with My Mom and Step-Dad for President's weekend. Gotta use those points....

Knowing that I can enjoy the spacious accomodations in Walt Disney World. Insuring that my family and I can take annual vacations in which we all greatly enjoy. The smile on my son's face the first time he sees Mickey Mouse each trip. There are many more...

Taking the time to relax and enjoy all that WDW has to offer and knowing that I will be back again and again and again!

Welcome Home!:wave2:

I have to agree with the "No hotel bill at checkout"!!! We gave up commando touring before we became DVC members (because after our 3rd trip to WDW together we knew we would be back at least every other year no matter where we stayed!)

After this trip, my #2 favorite is definitely the accomodations!!!! wooeeeeeee! I will never stay in a regular efficiency again!

two bedroom villa with a full kitchen and laundry surrounded by more stuff to do than you could ever fit in one trip, yet the ability to say to heck with it all and do what ever you want, when ever you want to, for as long as you want.

We have always enjoyed the Disney resorts, so I am sure we will be blown away by the accomadations. I am not sure if there is just one thing, but here are a few thoughts:

1. Deluxe Accomodations
2. More relaxed vacations
3. Reason to go to WDW as often as possible
4. Ultimately allowing for a more relaxing Disney experience

Leaving WDW is so much easier knowing that we are comiing back very soon.

The wonderful, wonderful friends we have made through DVC!!

Of course we love the wonderful accomodations, the extra trips, the flexibilty and the rest of it. But the biggest surprise has been making real and lasting friendships. Watching our DVC kids grow up together through our coordinated trips over the last several years really is priceless!
