showing up early for ADR's

I have an 8:25 ADR for Donalds breakfast,do you think I can show up for 8:00 and get into the restaurant early because we would like to be done breakfast by rope drop.Thanks

I think the difference will be if you have 8:25 ADR because that's all that was available or did you just request 8:25? If that was all that was available, they gave you that time because 8:00 was booked so you will have to wait to be seated. How long depends on how busy they are, but really what is the point of ADR's if you can show up anytime you want? I'm guessing since you came on here and asked instead of just calling and changing that you have already been told that 8:00 is booked.

We had a 9:05 ADR at the Tusker House. We showed up around 8:45ish and waited until 9:15 to get seated. I don't know how it would work for an earlier reservation.

OTOH, we did show up 20 minutes early for the Crystal Palace and were seated 15 minutes before our ADR.

Arriving too early for our ADR's never benefited us. We either got seated at our ADR time or a little later.

Donald's is VERY popular, so I doubt they'd seat early there. There was a line just to check in when we went.

Donald's on December 12, 2008

We had a Donald's Safari Breakfast Ressie on Wednesday morning at 8:05 a.m. We hopped on the bus from POFQ at 7:15 to get there on time. However, we could not go into the park until 8:00 a.m. The CM's had us all line up, single file, and they checked our reservations against their list. They let us in as our times were set. So, I was in at the front of the line. I got in immediately to Donald's, but then, my reservation was at 8:05..... So, first things first, they have to let you in the gate!

We arrived early for all of our ADRs. Sometimes we were seated early, sometimes we weren't.

Have never had much luck getting seated early.
