Good Morning All!

I have searched the forum for an answer to my question and there is many posts to go through and while I can find some answers I still have questions. I know a gratuity will be charged to my onboard account for the brunch and spa services (a massage) but what if I want to tip extra; as in above the 18% that will be charged? Can I give the extra to the person(s) in cash? Or would it be better to add more of a tip when I am checking out at the end of the brunch or spa? This is the first time I have been able to go both of these reservations and I am really excited!

Thank You

Jennifer

I just did Palo Brunch on The Fantasy about 3 weeks ago. Palo Brunch does not have a automatic gratuity. It will only be the price, $50 per person on the receipt that you will sign at the table. It is up to you if you want to add a cash tip or add on an extra amount onto the receipt. Tipping at Palo is 100% optional, you dont have to tip.

As Bad Pink Tink 2.0 says above, I added an additional tip for Palo Brunch and a massage by adding it to the bill. Both were lovely and my server in Palo was outstanding!

It is up to you whether and how to add an additional tip. I don’t carry cash around the ship, so I just add a gratuity in the spa and Palo/Remy to the bill I sign at the end of the experience. If you do have cash, that’s fine to leave too.

Enjoy your cruise!

Palo (Brunch & Dinner) are now $55 per person.

I paid $50 on The Fantasy at the end of August. The price increase must have happened after I made the reservation. I have a photo of the receipt if you want me to post it :)

The Palo/Remy prices on most ships increased in June, but the prices on the Fantasy aren't increasing until November, after the Transatlantic cruise returns to the US from Europe.
