Show Me the Cupcakes!!!

This thread has my mouth watering! I've looked through everything and still have a few questions:

1. If we buy cupcakes somewhere like Starring Rolls, will they give me some type of packaging to get it back to the room? I don't want to take them on the plane, but was thinking of getting a few our first day for us to snack on throughout the week. So do they sell them in some sort of way that they could be easily transported?

2. I know Starring Rolls closes early, but do the other bakeries as well? In particular, I'm worried about Karamell Kuch...I want to get some cupcakes there, but probably won't be able to get there until later in the day. Will they still be open and have cupcakes?

I think they have boxes, or little plastic cupcake containers. You can buy cupcake boxes at a local bakery supply store and pack them away in your suit case too, they aren't expensive and they fold flat.

I wouldn't think they'd be good to transport all day in a bag or anything...they are pretty big and the icing I'm sure would slide around.

The one in Germany was open like all the other shops, I don't think they close early. Starring Rolls sells out of the cupcakes pretty quickly. I wonder if they don't have a kitchen in the back so they only have what was delivered to them?

Not lemon meringue, but the Contempo Cafe in the Contemporary usually has some sort of lemon cupcake. In April they had a yellow lemon cupcake, in June it was strawberry lemonade. Enjoy!

Tried 5 cupcakes last week- Cappuccino, Red Velvet, Butterfinger, Mango, and Birthday cupcake at CRT. Loved them all!

I'm kinda scared to think of how many cupcakes my DD18 and I will be trying next week. I will definitely look for one of those lemony ones at the Contemporary!! Since she will be driving right back to college in Savannah after our trip to AKL, she will be bringing back a cupcake for each of her 2 roomies!

Can someone tell me by each park where we can get cupcakes? Oh and also at WDW? I thought I remember there being a blog or a link to where you can get cupcakes?

I also remember hearing about the yummy butterfinger cupcakes. I'm hoping that's at one of the parks too?

Just hit Party City on lunch and got a three pack of cupcake boxes to stuff in my back pack for my trip just in case one of the locations doesn't have a box to take these lucious pieces of heaven back to my room to enjoy later! It's a sold box with a circle insert to hold the bottom of the cupcake in place in the bottom of the box. Wouldn't go on rides with it in my bag, but mush easier to transport from park back to hotel without worry! I already added my list of cupcakes to try to my schedule of which parks we'll be at each day. I plan to take photos and post my reviews when I return!!!

I will be visiting for 7 nights and based on my research it sounds like the most yummy of the bunch is the red velvet cream cheese cupcake and followed by a chocolate peanut butter creation, so those are the two I plan to enjoy! I just can't decide on which peanut butter one is all, ahhh ! Disney problems lol!!

Try the Chocolate Cappuccino Cupcake at Toy Story Pizza Planet. It is to die for.

Is there a way to know before you go if the CS locations at HS have the cupcakes? Some of the menus sound good except for the dessert options. If I can get something this yummy for a dessert choice on the dining plan somewhere besides SR my family will be very happy!
