Shouldn't Timekeeper be open more?

It doesn't seem like an expensive attraction to operate. I think I've seen it way back when but its hard to remember. With Disney crowds up and Tommorrowland having breakdowns on Buzz and SM (not sure how often this happens but both were down on our last visit and Astro was down for rehab), shouldn't this become a full time attraction until they have something new to go in its place? It would be nice to have something besides TTC and CoP while waiting on a Buzz fastpass.

I agree. I haven't seen this attraction in years because it's never open!

I loved it! DD8 was confused about some of the parts (in a way its outdated) BUT... guess what? She is now reading Jules Vern! She is now interested in Time Travel books, and Historical Fiction books!!

We love this!! DS is SO into time travel stuff. We hope it's open in late May when we're there!!

I agree!! You must have been there when we were there 2/13 - 2/17!! SM kept going down, Buzz was down every time we checked, Astro Orbiters rehabbed.....They REALLY should have opened the Timekeeper. It is one of my DH's favorites. (along with 20,000 leagues and Mike Fink's keel boats! -just crossing my fingers they don't close down COP!) I was hoping they would open it. The place was very crowded and too many rides were down for one reason or another.

Close, 2/11-2/14. Even w/o the problems recently, with the crowd levels increasing even during offseason, they need to look at the lines people are waiting in and make a policy change about this "seasonal" attraction. I think it should be open in any season considerer "regular" and up. We were there during value season but because 2 rides were in rehab (small world and astro), I think they should set some standard for opening up seasonal attractions for every 2 rides down in rehab. It's not a big deal for me to see this, just think its a reasonable thing for Disney to do with attendence up.

I think it would be great if they could open these attractions once a week and post when they would be open. This way everyone would have a fighting chance of getting in again. Our spring break is usually a few weeks after Easter so it's not considered peak. The last time we went during the summer it also wasn't open.

I would love to see this attraction but have been there several times and never found it open. We were there in June crowds were very heavy and still wasn t open so what season are they waiting for.

I was there in August (later) and also for Thanksgiving. I didn't see it open at those times, either!! I may be wrong - but I don't think they were open....

Crowds have been up and they really should pay attention to the line wait times. In February, which is supposed to be value/slow season I was shocked by the crowds and wait times. We never rode the Speedway, Barnstormer, Buzz (broken all the time), and so many others because the waits were unreasonable for us - 45 min+. Some rides had waits of 70 minutes!!! UGH. What is Disney waiting for????

On another note, I also wish they would open Aunt Polly's for lunch again. That was our favorite little spot for a sandwich (used to be fried chicken) and a soft serve icecream.

Timekeeper is one of the circlevision movies w/an animatronic voiced by Robin Williams- the animatronic moves so fluidly and realistically- it looks like a person in a costume to me! The Timekeeper sends a robot named 9-Eye back in time- she has 9 eye/cameras and you are supposed to be seeing what she's seeing.

Its a really cool attraction- it was open on 12/20/04 when we were at the MK. I can see why they opened it though, it was SO crowded- 2 hour waits for Stitch's Great Escape! There was no wait for Timekeeper, though. They do use the Timekeeper theatre for the MVMCP and MNNSHP photos
