I'm a coward and I admit it! With that said, I ride everything at Disneyland. Love Big Thunder - tend to finish and say to my DS14 "Want to do it again?" Love Splash Mountain (last time I even opened my eyes at the top of the drop and almost enjoyed the view). Once on Space Mountain is enough for me. I wouldn't go on California Screamin' at DCL. I went on the mouse there - Mulholland Madness I think - and didn't really like it.
Don't ride at a lot of other places - I like some atmosphere with my adrenaline. I think my real problem is heights - won't go on a balcony in a high floor hotel room, live in fear of my car dying on a bridge, etc. My kids got me to take them to the outside observation deck at the Empire State Building - I stayed near the wall most of the time, finally edged over to the rail and almost fainted. If Space Mountain were in the light I'd probably never get on it. I think being up high with nothing around is my issue with California Screamin' - that and being upside down! You get the picture.
Last time we were at MGM (6 years ago) I was an even bigger coward and I sent my kids (then 8 and 11) on ToT without me. I'm thinking I should try it this time. Any chickens (or brave souls) have any advice? I figure Rock'n Roller Coaster is out of the question.
