This is a tough one for me

I don't feel I should be able to make personal choices for other people, especially when they don't effect me in anyway.

However a part of me is just going eeewwwwww:scared: I can't even imagine wanting to marry my brother, I can barely stand to spend more than a few minutes with him as it is.

I think I will just stay out of this decision........

that's why i put "undecided" as my answer. because i don't think it's anyone's right to tell you who you can and can't marry......but yeah if i had a brother, i probably wouldn't want to marry him either. :scared:

you know, whatever floats your boat, as long as it doesn't involve me i guess.

I remember a story about a brother and sister who met and did not know they were brother and sister and fell in love, got married, and then found out. I don't remember the exact details but I think there was a big age difference and they were either adopted out or in foster care, so they never knew each other. Now that's got to be rare, but they did love each other.

If there is not a history of genetic problems then their kids would probably be okay. With all the babies born from sperm donors, how do you know you aren't marrying a half sibling?

Generally I would be against it, but there are always exceptions.

I remember seeing that story. I voted undecided for just such a circumstance. I can think of several circumstances where a brother and sister or close blood relation might unknowingly begin a relationship and find it hard to turn off those feelings. Now a brother and sister who were raised together is a horse of a different color. That's just nasty! :scared:

Holy crap....I can't believe someone voted "yes"...is lunarlady in the house?

Yeah...and look how well Adam & Eve's first two kids turned out. One of them murdered the other one.

agnes!

:lmao:

didn't they have two boys, too? Cain and Able, right?? how the heck did they have kids if they had two boys?

eeweerrrrrr nope...

my brother is cute but not my type.... he is also a man ho lol

I would hope anybody who think Gay Marriage should be legal would vote for this as well. While one is a main stream lifestyle (not a choice), the other is a much more rare lifestyle. Who are we to legislate anybody's lifestyle?

I would have to vote no also.

Although I think my brother is cute in a rakish, Han Solo sort of way, I could never think of him in a sexual manner. I changed his diapers and kept him from picking the scabs on his 'zipper' scar post-surgery! :teeth:

TOV

You are equating homosexuality to INCEST?! Ok......

I'm sorry, but I'm not seeing any connection whatsoever between incest and homosexuality. Are you actually comparing the two? :confused3

EEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! That is just so disturbing on so many levels!!!!

Years ago on that tv show called Phil Donahue, there was a brother and sister that met, married and had a baby girl. They were both adopted and had no idea they were blood related. They found out by accident when the child needed bloodwork done and the clinic thought there was a mistake.
I don't recall how the story ended though. Does anyone remember this?

That was on Maury! They fell in love, and someone later told them they had the same father, so they went to Maury to find out. Turns out they were brother & sister, but I think they stayed together in the end (????)
