I do realize that the perks offered with membership are little extras and are really not part of the deal but ....
is anyone else a little discouraged about it when we all wait for our codes and dutifully put them in and get our 20% Yeah December discount only to see that now they are offering the general public 30% off with a code that is on the home page of disneyshopping??
On the one hand I feel like I'm being petty  On the other I just wrote out the check for dues

I think that the discount is nice. But there are so many different discounts out there. I have used the DVC discount at 10%, when if I would have paid attention I could have used a 15% with my Disney Visa. It didn't make me mad though.

I feel your pain - the same day we received our vacation magic with the 20% off code I placed an order at work (a large order) and only was able to get 10% off. Their site changes constantly!

I didn't know this was a ONE time use code. I used it when it started and tried to use it again and was denied because I had already used the COUPON?? I thought it was a code to use throughout the allowed time. Has anyone else used it more than once?

I dunno -- I was happy when I realized that I could save more money using the public code instead of my private code. Saving more money is something I like! :teeth:

Jum Lewis made it very clear at the OKW annual meeting that the code was for a one time use in December. I haven't read VM yet. Was the one itme use mentioned in VM?

Would someone please send me a PM with the code? Thanks!

Nevermind! I was able to find my Vacation Magic! (Page 4 for anyone else who's lookin') Offer expires 11:59pm ET, Dec. 31, 2005. Limit one coupon per order. It says nothing about only being able to use the code once within the month.

I'm on the site right now, and I can save more with the current promotion - Take $30 off $100, $60 off $200 or $100 off $300. What I don't understand is that I've purchased over $300, and it's still only taking $60 off. Maybe I'm buying something that's not included? It's just shirts, sleeping bags, etc. ??? Oh well.

Thanks, I checked the website and nowhere on it does it say onetime use. Since it was a code not a coupon, I thought I could use it until the code expired. The website should have said it was a coupon (one time use). I know this is how the disneyvisa codes work too. I do agree with others, if I wait the general codes are usually better.

That's the way the promotion works. By purchasing over the specified amount, you get that specific discount. It is not a percentage discount.

Has anyone noticed how often the prices change on the Disneyshopping website? In one week, children's pajamas wentb from $9.99 to $12.95 to $14.99! Are they really giving you a discount when the prices keep changing? I wish Disney didn't sell this to The Children's Place! Annmarie

From what I've read, the website isn't part of what Disney sold to Children's Place. Regardless of whether it is Disney or Children's Place, the practice of changing pricing is very common, and very well-regarded in consumer marketing.

Disney still owns the website and the catalog. Last I heard, the catalog was going away early 2006. I've not heard anything about the online, but will miss it if it goes away. Disney recently sold it's catalog/online outlet stores to the Children's Place and they are now disney store outlets. My hubby was a disney direct cast member until the sale this past August 2005. He left after the sale was complete. We miss the discounts, but the online store has had discounts that are comparable to what we use to get as a CM.

From what I have read you can use wdwgift for 30% off until 12/16. Try it. :earsgirl: And the way I feel you can get pretty much every DVC discount some where else for eqUAL OR even better.
