Shipment of AP?

If I order a AP it says it won't ship until after dec 30. My trip if January 28. With I get it in time using regular postal? I thought about picking up at will call but then I can't make FP reservations right?

Mine arrived in less than a week. I ordered it Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend and it came the following Friday.

I'm not 100% sure about APs, but with tickets if you choose Will Call they give you a confirmation number you can enter into MyDisneyExperience right then and there. That gives you the ability to make FP+s.

Mine immediately showed up in MDE since I logged in to order it. I didn't need to do anything.

I was doing it through rundisney so that might be why I had to take the extra step.

Stepping back from this question, even if you didn't ever get the "AP" in the mail, you could still activate the AP and use it at WDW with no problem.

What you are sent (if you order it to be sent) is an AP VOUCHER and not an actual AP.

Then, you would need to go to a WDW ticket booth or Guest Relations, and show a legal photo ID to get a "live" (activated) AP to use at the parks, etc.

Since all APs when purchased are based on your personal information (name, address, etc.) and not just a "card,"
you can just show a legal photo ID at a ticket booth and obtain an AP.
(It would also help if you had the credit card used for the AP order, and the confirmation number if this was the first time you were picking up a new AP.)
