Congratulations! I love that area, so beautiful! Shanleigh has made it up to Grand Beach a couple of times this summer but I have not!

We are enjoying our summer, especially now that the warm weather has returned! Enjoy!

I am so glad that it looks like Jeff will get to go with you! He is really a hoot! I'm so proud of him for aiming for a physical therapy degree. You know I have a soft spot for Physical Therapist since Brynn gets so much help from them! She's going to have AFOs on both legs to her knees for the first time on our trip in a few weeks, so her PT is going to have to teach us some stretches and exercises to do while we're there to make her more comfortable. In the end, it's going to be super beneficial, though!

I really do want to get back there in May again. I love F&G, but it's right at the end of our school year! ARGH!! Maybe one day.

I have such a soft spot for Pop, too, so I do hope you get to stay there!

Morning!! Shanleigh just headed off to work so I thought before I start laundry and cleaning I would do a quick update!

I went to my sisters last weekend to help her pack and get ready for their 2 weeks on back to back cruises on the Fantasy! Their first week (they set sail yesterday) is the Western Caribbean and next week it will be the Eastern Caribbean. They were so excited and we were excited for them....wished we were with them, but excited none the less

We have been juggling some dates and deciding if we wanted to try a different resort but we both know that we don't care where we stay as long as we're on property! Flights are ridiculous right now for our dates so we will hold off on booking anything until they come down (fingers crossed).

Shanleigh starts her second year at Univerisity on September 3 so we'll have her schedule then and that's when we can book our resort! For those of you who I don't have on Facebook, Shanleigh received a letter in July from the head of her faculty congratulating her on her high GPA in Criminal Justice and invited her to enroll in the honours program! We were over the moon at this. It means one more year of school but I said to her you're young and you live at home take every opportunity you can! I am so proud of her and how hard she works! Just a little proud mama moment!

I ordered one 7 day pass from an airmiles program we have here in Canada and I should have enough for another one by December. Once we arrive we will upgrade to either 10 day hoppers or annual passes, but that's a story for another day! Don't have all the details worked out for a possible second trip yet!

So there you have it, that's where we're at right now and I have to say as much as I was bummed about not going in December, I am so excited about May! I can't wait to be there during Flower and Garden again!!

We will be at POR. My mom didn't think she and my dad would sleep comfortably on a double bed, so we had to move up to a moderate for queen beds! Not that I am complaining. But we won't be there until May 28th because of school schedules.

Sorry that a Christmas trip will not work, I know how much you were looking forward to seeing the gorgeous decorations again...but I'm not too sorry because we are also planning a trip for the first week of May It would be amazing to meet up with you and Shanleigh and Jeff

We don't know where we are staying yet, I'm thinking of renting DVC points. Hopefully I can get the ball rolling on that next week as we just got back from a week in Nova Scotia and we're still recovering from that!

I can't believe I am about to say this but we changed our dates again....but I promise you I have a great reason for it!!

I shared with you that my sister and her family were doing B2B 7 day cruises on the Fantasy right? Right....well, they took advantage of the discount of booking a future cruise and booked us a cabin too, adjoining to theirs!!! I am so excited I can't even tell you! We will be cruising from August 23-30, 2014 on the Fantasy, Eastern Caribbean with stops in St Maarten, St Thomas and Castaway Cay! They booked us a deluxe oceanview suite with veranda and it's all in celebration of my very special birthday that I will be celebrating next year!! I am over the moon....could you ask for a better present? I don't think so, I have the best family! Shanleigh is so excited as she knows what she's in for because she cruised with them in 2011 in celebration of her 18th birthday!

Since we are going to have to fly down for the cruise we decided that Shan and I would actually leave on August 10 and have 2 weeks in Disneyworld before we depart on the ship!! Three glorious weeks and I can't wait! We will celebrate Shanleigh's 21st birthday and my "special" birthday LOL.

So much planning to do and I can't wait! They arrive home today so we will begin the planning tomorrow for next year. I couldn't wait to tell all of you!

That would have been so awesome but as you can see from my recent update that we are no longer going in May....wish we could have made that work out!

Wow - that really is a HUGE change, but congratulations on being able to plan your upcoming cruise. That sounds wonderful. Two weeks in the world followed by a cruise sounds like heaven! And what a great way to celebrate a 21st birthday.
