Shanleigh started back to University on Wednesday and that was the day that we found out her last exam in December is on the 16th so our December plans wouldn't have worked out anyways!

Well there ya go! See? It just wasn't meant to happen then anyway.

For those who are friends with me on FB know that Shanleigh received a letter from the Faculty of Criminal Justice in July inviting her to attend the honour programs because of her high GPA! We were thrilled with this as it opens the door for her to do her Masters! This was followed the other day there with another letter from the University stating that she is in the top 15% academic performers at the U of W and another invitation to the International Honours Society! When she finished up her year last year her GPA was 4.35%...she really is one smart cookie!

After having met her, I'm not surprised at all. Way to go Shan!

Lord knows we have to get our mani/pedi's in before we leave

We are hoping to get good flights with Delta so we can go thru Minneapolis instead of Chicago as it's smaller and not so much running

Chicago is big... no, that's not quite right... Chicago is BIG!!!!

I already have our passes .... got those thru our airmiles program here!

I should do that on our next foray. I never think of it!

We did. We went to IKEA and got Kay new bedroom furniture. She was thrilled.

Poor kid had such run down furniture (1st it was ours... then Elle's... then hers) she deserved something new.

Now I have to put it all together!

I didn't! I wish I did though! The extra Sea day was awesome! the Fantasy is such an amazing ship there were endless things to do If you have any questions or want to see pictures let me know!

It's been a long time, too long. Life has gotten the better of me... I've gone back to school, working full time and on top of that, covering for another lady who left my employment.

Awww thanks Mary She is a good girl and I love the fact that you know that first hand! We had such a great time with you guys...as a matter of fact, the other day there Shanleigh was commenting on how much the girls have grown since we saw you in 2010....it's high time we had an overlapping trip again!!

Its been a little while and I actually have some more great news to share so I thought I would do a quick update to let you know what's changed!

So you know that Shan and I are going for 3 weeks, 2 weeks at WDW and one week on the Fantasy...so you're all caught up in case you missed that. The changes you ask....well......Jeff will be coming for one week in Disney and our week on the cruise! To say him and Shan are excited is an understatement. They decided they wouldn't buy each other anniversary presents (they just celebrate 3 years on Oct 9), no Christmas gifts and no birthday gifts! They would take the money that they would have spent on those things and do an excursion or spend time in the spa! Sounds like a great plan to me!

It was all up in the air because the kids both work full time from end of April until school starts in September but Jeff was able to make it work so he has officially been added as of today!

We are not yet sure if my sister and her family will be joining us the week before the cruise but I'm keeping my fingers crossed! If they do the full week before, Jeff will travel down with them but if they only do 5 days before, Jeff will fly down on his own and meet us at the resort!

My sister's youngest was over the moon when she found out Jeff would be coming! Her sister was at the Jet's game so she didn't know until her and her dad got home! If you followed our 2011 TR, you know that Jeff was their constant companion in the pool every afternoon!

There you have it...that's the latest!! I hope everyone is having a fantastic week, I'm on vacation this week and next so I'm feeling all kinds of good

Ha, for a brief second I thought you were going to say, next year's trip is still on PLUS we're going this Christmas like we originally planned also!!! Ah well.

Aww, this is great news all around Jacquie!! Third anniversary... WOW!!!! Clearly Jeff's a keeper.

What a great idea to save everything from all those occasions for one big blast. I love that idea. How many people talk about doing something like that but don't follow through? I have a feeling they will.

That is going to be some trip, that's for sure.
