Wow - that really is a HUGE change, but congratulations on being able to plan your upcoming cruise. That sounds wonderful. Two weeks in the world followed by a cruise sounds like heaven! And what a great way to celebrate a 21st birthday.

Congratulations to Shanleigh for being offered enrollment in the Honors Program. That is awesome!

I haven't been this excited to plan something in a while Don't get me wrong, I love planning our trips to WDW but it's something we've all got pretty good at. Everytime I think of something I write it down to ask Shanleigh or my sister

I figure once my sister's girls are back in school for about a month and things return to the normal school schedule we'll start the planning process!

For those who are friends with me on FB know that Shanleigh received a letter from the Faculty of Criminal Justice in July inviting her to attend the honour programs because of her high GPA! We were thrilled with this as it opens the door for her to do her Masters! This was followed the other day there with another letter from the University stating that she is in the top 15% academic performers at the U of W and another invitation to the International Honours Society! When she finished up her year last year her GPA was 4.35%...she really is one smart cookie! She does work very hard and also keeps a part time job going at the same time! Ok, that's it, I just wanted to share with all my Dis-buddies

Now onto the PTR! Our plans as of right now are.....we will depart here on August 10 which is a Sunday! I usually take the Friday off before we leave to do last minute things, however, with 3 weeks I thought we would just leave on a Sunday and I can do those things on Saturday! Lord knows we have to get our mani/pedi's in before we leave Our plan was to stay from the 10-22 at Pop or AoA but that may be changing. My BIL and sister were talking about them maybe coming down a week before the cruise to stay at AKL! So if that happens, Shanleigh and I will stay on our own from the 10-16 then move on the 16th to AKL to spend a week with them there and then on the 23rd leave for the cruise! I really hope that's how things pan out as we do love our vacations with them!

I tried to get a feel for flights last week but they weren't available yet for that time period so I will keep looking! We are hoping to get good flights with Delta so we can go thru Minneapolis instead of Chicago as it's smaller and not so much running With my visa card I should have enough points by then for one flight so that means only paying for one I already have our passes .... got those thru our airmiles program here! I am a loyal shopper wherever they take airmiles as it does save quite a bit when you don't have to buy passes! The only thing we'll have to do is add park hopper and 3 days!

That's the latest on the planning and once we sit down and start discussing the cruise I'll be sure to let you know.

I'm with you on that! I am a firm believer in everything happens for a reason! AKL is a fav of ours as well, Shanleigh's favourite for sure, but I still have a soft spot for SSR, maybe because it was our first deluxe That's what we'll go with!

I still can't quite believe it myself! I am keeping my fingers crossed that my sister and her family decide to do the week before the cruise as well...we just have so much fun with them!
