Hi All

Am looking for advise. Am planning a budget trip with my daughter - who will be 5 at the time.
I would like one night where we get dressed up and go for a 3 Course meal dinner. This would be a splurge for us.

Is it possible to share all 3 courses at like Be Our Guest / Monsieur Paul / V&A?

Thank you in advance.

Not at any fixed price meal, so Be Our Guest and Victoria & Albert's are out.

But any restaurant would offer three courses. And there a numerous Signature restaurants with á a carte menus. You could eat almost anywhere.

My DD loved California Grill at that age. The view of the MK is really special and they have a children's menu.

I would look for restaurants that look fancier than they really are. For a 5 year old Princess I think Grand Floridian Cafe would be a dream come true. It is one of the prettiest restaurants I know of in WDW, and in one of the most Princessy resorts ever. There is a children's menu for her, and you could order any reasonable priced items you want, and be in total control of the budget. Depending on your dinner time you could enjoy the Grand Pianist in the lobby as he entertains, or arrive in time for the Grand Orchestra. I love sitting in that lobby watching little girls dance in the "ballroom" to the music that is played.

I agree that California Grill is lovely too, as is Narcoossees.

How about an early dinner at Sanaa?? You get to see the animals walking around outside the windows, its such a fun place!

GF Cafe is such a great idea for all of the reasons mentioned! Ale & Compass, though it doesn't have the ambiance of the GF resort, comes off as being a little fancier as well.

I also agree with the Cali Grill idea. It feels so special to be whisked up to the restaurant in a private elevator and the view of MK and also the EP and DHS fireworks from the back observation deck is stunning. There would be zero issue with you sharing 3 courses at these a la carte restaurants. At Cali Grill, you can even order your DD5 her own 3-course meal from the kids menu for around $13/$14.

As others have said, as long as you avoid pre-fixe restaurants (BOG, character meals, etc.), you shouldn't have a problem sharing.

Sounds AMAZING! Definitely something we can make a day off on our rest day. Thank you so much!

I think that sometimes we look at "grand" through our eyes and not that of a little girl, but looking back to the places my DGD liked they were not the ones I spent the most on. This ne woudl have been on her list.
