September 22nd 4 day wonder

SCOTTIE- WHAT DID YOU GET! I AM WANTING TO GET A LAPTOP. I THINK I'M GOING TO HAVE TO WAIT A YEAR THOUGH.

I'm just trying to bump us up on the first page.

This is the first day in almost three weeks that I didn't have something I had to do. It feels weird to just be sitting at home.

I think that I'm going to work on my packing list some more and maybe take out some off some of the clothes. I'm trying to pack really light I want to be able to just have 4 bags and our carry-on.
This is the first time we've ever flown with the kids. I'm a little nervous about how well they'll do. We have a afternoon flight so they won't have to get up early. They are really excited about it.

We'll be leaving in one week!!!!!!!! It's almost here!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were worried about flying with our kids but everything has always worked out just fine! Bring some coloring books etc and all will be well!
And as for our computer we got a Dell 8200 desktop system, loaded to the max and a new monitor and digital camera too.

Scottie- That is what we have. Got it about 4 months ago. We don't have the digital camera though. We got a 21" flat screen. Our monitor and tower are both black. My husband had to have that color.

yeah we were all happy to get a new digitial camera to bring on our cruise to snap away with, HOWEVER....I got an email from Dell yesterdfay that our camera wont be shipped now till after 9/20. Which means we wont have it for our trip...I am NOT happy!! So I replied to the email with a verrrrry long response about how upset I am that they promised me it would ship on 9/13 and if they had been runing low on stock then they could have told me wont ship till later when I placed the order and I would have just bought one here. Im not sure they will do anything for me but still felt they needed to hear how upset I was with that part of their customer service. So I am going to borrow one from a good budy for the trip. I didnt feel like canceling the order with Dell.

JUST THINK....this time next week we will all be freshing up/grabing a snack for breakfast as we get ready to head to the port terminal to board the great Disney Wonder!!!!!!

And on a side note...Dell shipped my camera!

That's really great about your camera. I just bought a new camera about two weeks ago. I've been using it, but still need to make my self sit down and read the manual.
I'm trying to get my DH to do the same with the camcorder we bought at the same time. I'll probably be doing the reading on that one too!
We are planning on eating breakfast and then going to see the manatees that Shirley was talking about. Then board the ship.

A few days ago some asked about Shirley's baskets who was getting them and who was not. Well at the time I was not but now I am. I got one with Disney bubbles (minnie and mickey), disney playing cards, 2 different 6 pks. of coke, juice boxes, and she was going to stick a few more items in there. So we don't have to stop on the way from the airport and pick up some drinks.

Only 3 days till we leave for DISNEY !! I'm still trying to find cheaper hopper passes !!We had to wait for this weeks pay to have all the money and now I'm scrambling !!! This is the first year I've done it myself and I didn't do very well,but we have the cruise tickets so I didn't do to bad and we have the hotel and transportation so............. Now just the passes and pack !!! I had to do it for in-laws too,'cept the PHP, they're going to just get the tickets there. I want us to be able to jump to other parks while they rest or whatever..........and if we buy the 4 day we'll have 2 left for nrxt year... Can you tell I'm getting a little nervous !! *LOL*
Hope we meet some of you there..Taryn will be in the oceaneer club and she'll be 5 on the 30th. We'll see if she wants to do the 3 & 4 club or the 5 & 6 when we get there. After church we have to go get ribbon and start packing !!! Wish me luck !!! DH is no help,he just thinks things "happen"

We started to iron and set the majority of the clothes aside today...hoepfully everything will ready to go by mid week (yeah like that will EVER happen)

We will visit the manatees when we arrive at cocoa beach on Saturday and then probaly just relax on the beach at the Hilton we are staying in for the night. As for Sunday we will probably grab a bite to eat around 9am and then head off to port for early check in around 10:30 or so and to just hang around...we are all too excited and want to at least be hanging out at the port ASAP!

Meghan will be in the 5-6 group and I am pretty sure Billy will be too.

JUST GOT BACK FROM WAL-MART. I AM NOW COMPETELY READY. JUST HAVE TO IRON A FEW THINGS. ALL OF OUR DINNER CLOTHES I'M SENDING TO GET PRESSED ON THE SHIP. IF THEY NEED IT.(I'M SURE THEY WILL) PLAN TO PACK FRIDAY MORNING. I WANT TO PACK RIGHT NOW, BUT AM AFRAID I'LL NEED SOMETHING THEN FORGET TO PUT IT BACK.
I'M GETTING SO EXCITED!!!! I THINK DD & DS ARE ACTUALLY REALIZING THAT IT'S ALMOST HERE. DS IS CARRYING AROUND A TAG OFF OF ONE OF HIS NEW SHIRT'S. IT HAS MICKEY ON IT, HE SAYS IT HIS TICKET!

Yes, Billy will be in the 5-7 age group and will probably be there every evening after dinner and possibly other times as well. There is also a 6 yr old named Ben who is traveling with dad who will be in the 5-7 group. Tell Taryn that that's the place to be!

I ordered 2 baskets from Shirley, 1 for DH and 1 combo one for the kids.

Sonya- Your kids would rather go to the kids club than to the shows after dinner?(hercules and disney dreams)

I have so much to do this week. It's starting to stress me out. Oh well it maybe it will go by really fast and then it'll be time to leave.

I know what you mean as I have something going on every night this week except for Friday due to the business.I am getting stressed out and excited at the same time.
DH and I went to Michael's yesterday and got the lime color ribbon.I hope it is the right color<G>.I have decided that at boarding it will be on my purse,and afterwards on me<G>.I don't want anything extra on me to carry<VBG>.
I just hope this week goes by fast for all of us.

For the most part, my ds(6) will probably prefer the club to the shows although we will give him the choice. DD(9) will probably make a decision based on which show versus what is going on in the lab that night.

Last time we brought them to all shows and while they did enjoy them, I think most of the time they would have preferred the clubs.

I definitely will be bringing DD to at least one "family" dueling pianos show as I know she will absolutely adore that. It's her kind of thing. I wonder, if you do the dueling pianos, do you have to miss the "show" of the evening? Does anybody know?

By the way, I've been trying to get the kids to watch our video of Hercules so they remember it for the show and neither one has any interest at all in watching this movie. I even tried bribery and they want no part of it. I'm guessing this is a show they will be skipping.

Maybe Taryn will just do the 5-7 then She's just use to the "KIDDY" stuff *LOL* the 3-4 year olds is the club she was in on our last 2 cruises,and they have storytime,where snow white or another princess or Wendy Darling reads to them,and she just LOVES that !! I guess she could still go to that? I have so much last minute stuff to do !! I'll try to get ribbon,I keep forgetting But we'll be on the lookout for Ben's, Billy's and Megans in OC !!

My kids want to go see the two shows (h & dd). The other two nights they will be in the kids club.
I take lots of pictures. I was just wondering if I could stop in from time to time in the kids club and take some pictures? Or even stay for some of the activities?

Sonya,On the shows,do you recommend them although we don't have any kids?Mind you this is our first cruise,and we love Disney things and all.
I am getting worried about this storm out in the water.I hope it doesn't go anywhere close to the Bahamas.I don't want it to ruin our plans.I am ready to for this vacation!

Maria, I haven't ever been but I have heard a lot about Disney Dreams. Everyone says it is really good! That is the only show that I've heard about.

I guess we should check out Disney Dreams.I was just wondering what everyone will be doing come even hours as far as shows go.We have first seating for dinner.I can't wait just a few more days!
