That swim sounds perfect for my DH....he loves that stuff. He like to swim to the offshore island on Orient Beach in St. Martin when we are on the 7 night cruises there.

Do you have any idea what time you will do this swim....as we will have to be on the family beach with our DD..but I would send him over for the swim.

Thanks!!!!!!!!

Saw your pics. I knew you were there taking those. Best experience was on a night dive this year on the Benwood with an unexpected reef shark. Not a nurse shark. I told Lamar it was a nurse shark. R-E-S-P-E-C-T. We came up over the stern and their he/she was. HELLO!

We don't dare start the photo thing. $$$$$ I know I would get stuck with all the maintainance and I just want to take pics in my brain. I'm a lazy diver.

The swim sounds great but I'm not going to commit to anything more for us right now. When you get a time let us know. :hourglass

good afternoon- so how many people have packed yet?
I know I have

Hi Lynn,

I have one big Suitcase started and a list of everything I have put in it so far. So I know what I have packed. Otherwise I could run around looking for something I've already packed.

Where are you?

Is anyone here doing Herod's or the Cosol tour on St Lucia? Do you have any prior feedback or recommendations? Suitability for youngsters, etc. tks - still trying to decide what to do

Steve and I are doing the Cosol tour. krdisneybound is organizing one if you want to talk to her. For info, you can go to cosoltours.com.

Is anyone taking their grass skirt in their carryon day bag? I don't know for sure if our suitcases will be in our rooms in time for the sailaway party.

tks, I saw the site already but it doesn't really have much other than the description....was hoping to see some pictures or something. Emailed them awhile back (or was it herod's) and asked some questions re our 2 yr old and just got back a canned response, didn't even address our questions....

Wow Denise,
I didn't think about that. that grass skirt is the first thing I packed. OK so who has started unpacking already? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :lmao:

I haven't started packing yet, too soon to start and then I'd just be constantly unpacking it all the time. :lmao: I have started a list though of what I need to pack.

Remember when packing that, after this morning, you can't carry liquids, except formula ect., in your carry on baggage. All liquids or gels have to be in your checked luggage. I'd expect your bag to be a little rumpled when you get it too. I think they'll be checking everything really closely for the next several months.

Knowing this is the case I hope that DCL tries to get luggage to us a little quicker (though I have never had a complaint before, always had it by 5). No sunscreen, no sailaway wine :sad2: That's ok, I'll make up for it on this cruise  :cheer2:

I have a bin of stuff, overflowing to the floor. I have the suitcases out. I will have to rethink my packing. Maybe I'll start this weekend. This will probably mean fewer carry ons for us.

This reminded me. For those who are planning to send your wine to the ship ahead of time, it is probably better to use UPS. The post office will not ship wine or liquids (if you tell them that's what it is). Anyone have any experience shipping stuff to the ship? Does it arrive in your cabin before sailaway?

Tracy, it seems like I remember reading somewhere on the boards that if you ship stuff to the ship it should be in your stateroom waiting for you as long as it has all the correct information like your stateroom number.
