At the risk of sounding stoopid..., I have a question for those of you that know everything.... I won't mention any names,
but you know who you are...
Are the Dolphin and Swan hotels "official" Disney Resort hotels?

Can't say that we know everything yet but we are working on it. Anyway,
The Swan and Dolphin are the only two hotels on disney property that are not owened and operated by Disney. We have never stayed there so can't give you any input there but have been through the lobby and they seem very nice.

Both the Swan and Dolphin have Disney Transportation to the cruise. Not sure about MCO, but I think they do. Best to call though.

I just got my fish extender. Carol - THANK YOU!!!! It looks great - and your talent is amazing. Now if only I can decorate it without messing it up! Well at least DD and I will have fun trying to make something creative. I think we need THREE groups for the competition: 1) Families 2) Adults and 3) CREATIVELY-CHALLENGED!

Thank you for the compliment. I don't know how amazing my talent is but it has been fun knowing that I am actually capable of working something like this out. We are looking for any competition ideas. Let's see, we now have: 1) Families 2)Adults 3) Creatively-challenged and 4) Red Neck! This ought to really be fun.

Amazing what a short trip to the discount store 4 days before leaving on the first Repo cruise started!!!

Look at what I started! Too bad I can not judge the competion on the cruise....ummm Peter....

Carol - our fish extender arrived yesterday - excellant job Now to decide what to do with it.

Quick reminder since I will be travelling next week for work - anyone decided to do Eli's Eco Tour in Antigua. I will need to have a list in to Tracy for the newsletter and just want to be sure I get that finished before I get on the plane Tuesday.

Sure wish you were joining us. I would love to meet the person who started this and to have you as a judge. Problem is, if you were with us we would have to get you to join in the contest and then you couldn't judge. Maybe Peter could send you pictures and you could judge from home. I'm not sure whether to thank you or not. All I wanted was to be a part of the group but when I went looking at the discount stores and couldn't find anything this happened. Having fun with it, though. Great way to meet people.

Hi Everyone

The name badges and lanyards are coming along nicely - remember, all you have to do to get one of these exclusive name badges is to be listed on the cruise roster. The name badges double has a place to keep your key to the world card while on board - so they actually provide a valuable service.

Best of all is that they are free to everyone on the cruise roster (thanks to the generous support of some of our fellow cruises).

Just took a second to pop in and say

Yesterday I was at a Famous Footwear store (I think they are nationwide) and they have the "Croc" type clogs with the holes in them. If anyone is interested, they were soft and comfy like the regular "crocs" and on sale for $29ish. They weren't the hard cheap ones like at WalMart ... they hurt your feet.

This may have been answered before BUT ... Carol, is there a way we can get a list of who has the fish entenders, so the "gift fairy" can do his/her rounds? Again thanks so much for your work in making them. Hope your surgery goes well.

@goofynut Cathy, some people have fish extenders from the prior cruise so Carol's list won't be complete. Use the Roster. Tony has been updating it as changes and additions are sent to him. This is also the list that Ken will use.

You all have been busy busy.

Painting is done, finally as of last night.

For those of you wanting to stay at Swan/Dolphin, you can't go wrong. You get starwood points if you are a member (spg.com). The heavenly beds are fantastic, the rooms are beautiful. If you have stayed at a true deluxe resort and a disney deluxe resort..you will notice that the Swan/Dolphin are more like real deluxe resort rooms (not Disney's idea of a deluxe resort room) with all the ammenities to match. Good size rooms also. We like them because they are so convenient to EPCOT and MGM. Many great food options, nice pool and bars.

We will use our fish extender from the Panama Cruise.
