okay I know this multiple posting is wrong...BUT

PrettyInTink - I am what one would call "pooh sized" and I couldn't find a Pirate wench costume that would fit right so I am having one made (by Mom)...I found a Renaissance type costume because all the Pirate type ones we found we a bit "sleazy" for my liking.....the costume is almost done...just have the vest to finish....I can't wait to wear it on Pirate Night!!!!!

I did look at the pictures I had from Pirate Night on our Panama Canal cruise last year so I would have an idea of typical Pirate costumes.
I agree with you on the SLEAZE factor of some of these costumes. I rarely wear anything too revealing as I am pooh sized as well. I am considering having one made. There are a few people I know who sew fairly well. I have an old standby tank thingy that I have in several colors to wear under clothes that are too low cut for my liking. The funny thing is that skinny women with proportional chests to their bodies can wear these costumes without looking bad. But when I put on the same thing even in my size I look like a jezzabel. It is very frustrating, but also a good sign I need to lose weight.
So how is everyone's pre-cruise slim down going? It's CRUNCH TIME ladies and gents! I just have to keep repeating over and over: Dr Atkins is my friend-Meat is good for you-you don't want your butt to jiggle in the goofy pool do you ?

Can mom make me a vest too??!! That's all I need and I'm set :teeth:

Elaine, guess what I got today??? Bill thinks they are KEWL!!

don't forget to PM spros if you want to do tag with your stateroom number. With the rate that we are posting, she may miss a post and you don't want to miss Tag!!
That's gotta be almost 10 for me now!

With temperatures as high in the high 90's (but feels like 110 with heat index (humidex) factured in)....my walking schedule has slumped....I am beginning to think I may be one of those weight loss resitant people that Dr. Phil talkecd about on his show a few weeks ago....I have tried Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers and just about everything else on the market but due to other medical problems, weight loss for me is a difficult thing. Everyone said that the Weight Watchers program would work for me so I followed the problem religiously for the 12 weeks and guess how much weight I lost....zero!!! yup nothing.

So you will see me at the adult pool...jiggles and all...this is me.....

No worries... I will have enough "sleeze" factor for both of us...:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

Laura, galbladder attacks are no fun, Celeste has some good thoughts. I only had one and that was enough for me, and I have a very high tollerence for pain. Took morphine to cut the pain.

Elaine that is $14.99 Canadian, which is how much US.

Muppets will be regular sized not big versions, at least that is who appeared on the PC cruise.

Another pooh sized cruiser here. I am recycling my wench costume from our January cruise, it's not flattering but it's already paid for. I have lost 25lbs doing weight watchers since then so maybe it will look a little better. I still have about 40lbs to go before I will be satisfied. So I will be there too jiggles and all and enjoying every minute of it! :yay:

Elaine, say happy B-day to your mom for us. Even if it is early.

....Our company leases these trucks for 4 years @ a limit of 500,000 miles so we have to turn them in for someone else or we will put too many miles on them and then they'll just sit until the lease is up. The most we have ever put on a truck was 360,000 miles in a little over a year but we were buying a house and stayed out working for 6 months straight. That's one way to save $$$ though. I'll never do that again but man our bank account was pretty!!

Holy SMOKES.....!!!!

If we assume a little over a year means a year and a month - we can keep it simple and just say you ran your puppy 400 days! Factoring in a month of vacation and a month off for pee breaks and actually taking time off - then that would be 900 miles a day! At 70 MPH that's an average of 12.85 hours a day of driving. Does the NHTSA and DOT allow that? Er, rather - is 70MPH as an annual average "play"? Cuz that implies you're doing 70+ sometimes to make up for all that under 70 MPH navigating in town at at any stops.

So... at 65MPH avergae annual speed this translates into 13.85 hours a day - every day for 400 on the road excursions.

All I can add now is a humble ... "Wow".... :thumbsup2

Needless to say - you must tag team driving pairs to enable this sort of sustained performance averaged over a year.

Put another way... every 4 years you probably see a MILLION MILES roll by! At that rate - you've got the Apollo astronauts beat on distance travelled (possibly). You must have been almost EVERYWHERE in the lower 48 + maybe some in Canada too!

I'm not counting - but I figure I'm getting close to my daily "10" now.... :woohoo:

Okay there is WAY too much math going on in today's posts!! My head hurts just reading it. Calculators are my friend.....:teeth:

Say ...

... before I cut out for a few hours (gotta pick up my daughter from school - make em' some supper then I'm off for the evening to "hang" with a cousin whos' relocating to Southern Cal).... how about a friendly little Q&A game? This ought to give us a thinly vieled excuse for putting on another quick series of postings before midnite!

Here goes - it's very simple - just answer the Qs below and if you think my thinking is off - add or modify a Q as you see fit... and the community can pick it up from there....

1) Favorite beverage
2) Favorite Color
3) Favorite Childhood Character (it can be non-Disney ... if U dare!)
4) Favorite Disney Dish (spouses are a valid option)
5) Favorite moment from ANY cruise (or vacation for those 1st timers out there!)

There it is ... almost a quasi "get to know" sort of thing that should not be too intrusive.... wanna play? I figure with the added insanity from this posting we might score a quick ... HUNDRED plus postings .... in 180 minutes. Three hours before most folks turn in for the nite!!!!

Gotta go now...

Cheers!!!!
