Gals, I am afraid that I think the Pop Tarts, the food, tastes like frosted cardboard. It was a bone of contention with my daughter,when she was growing up, as I thought it a most unhealthy breakfast. She now gives them to her children. I run in fear from Toaster Strudel though cause I love them. I am sure they are far healthier too.

We prefer Toaster Studel too but Bounce Back Toaster Strudels just doesn't have the same ring to it...

Diva K, leave it to you to find the most fabulous logos and such. You outdo Martha herself.

Ang, I have always had a 'Santa Clause". If you are too old to believe in Santa you are too old get to get presents. Gotta love Will and my Austin. Austin is 17 and the other night he told me that even though he knew his friends no longer believed in Santa he did, sort of. It was so sweet and I told him that at 60 I believed too, and I do.

Diva K, what was your excuse for being perfect when you did not have the painters to blame it on? Just wondering. I love being a Pop Tart, I was such a Goodie Goodie back in the day. Time I cut loose, footloose!



Timmie, you can make the mundane seem interesting.

Paying bills, doing housework and waiting until I get to go over and play with my older group of kids. I have missed the past two weeks because of the surgeries. I have to go to town every single day this week so not much will get done. Grandson coming by after school and working on the basement more though. Life is good!

I bought the McD;s coupons to give for Trick n Treat and bought a couple of extras so myself and my friends have been eating, not quite free, but for very cheap the past week or so. I have a small hamburger, apple slices, small drink and then an ice cream for lunch and that cost me about $.32. Hey, saves more money for Disney!

Hope your free meal is a tad bit fancier. BTW, check out the Sweet Potato Fries at White Castle. Just stay way from the liquid sugar they give you to dip them in and all will be well. Yum!

Your painters are still there. OMG lol Either you have a very lazy crew or own a mansion and are painting every room.

Niether. 4BD, 2 & 1/2 BA house. We are having everything painted, every room (ceilings, trim, doors..)
They work pretty steady....arrive @8am and work until @5pm weekdays, half days on Saturday...they seem like nice enough guys but we don't communicate much since they don't speak much english and I don't speak Spanish!

Love the puppy cam but I have my two girls I can watch. They are both sleeping curled up with each other just like the puppy's where when I watched them. Plus I have one who is a total clown and fun to watch and play with.

Ms. Linda !!! I had a very good lunch... 1st stop was the soup bowl... had some seafood corn chowder!!! next stop.. was a choice between the salad bar.. sandwich bar.. pizza bar or the hot plates... I dove in for the Turkey, provolone (sp) with sun dried tomato panini bread !!! and for dessert... to many to mention.... theres the creme brulee which was my 1st choice... then the strawberry shortcake.. no flan... fresh fruits... jello... and we move to the pudding table !!!!!!! bread pudding... banana pudding.... and last but not the least.. sticky toffee pudding... Two please we also have an array of beverages... juice... flavored water... tea local imported organic regular lipton.... dasani... fiji.. evian... and aquafina... and where do we go for drinks ??? tazo teas for cold bev and caramel macchiato for hot !!!! did I just died and went to heaven????????

btw the instrument was ok

tonight they are bringing the peeps to Palasades mall and tomorrow night is a trip to the NYC... which both tour I declined.... Spa tonight.. outlet mall tomorrow !!!!

Diva K, have you never heard of having food delivered or are you afraid you would have to buy enough for everyone? There is a site named Babblefish, I think, that will translate whatever you wish to say to your workers. I am currently hunting for a Mexican lady who would like to move in the help with the household chores. She could have the whole second floor, I would not make her work over 40 hours, if that and I will promise to learn enough Spanish so that we could complain about Tom together.

Timmie, you are plumb evil. I hope you gain at least five pounds after eating all that. I starve myself to death to lose a mere ounce here and there. Life ain't fair!

Ang, I just spoke to a local DIS friend and she and her hubby are headed down in a few days. They are so kind that they would have taken the Caddy instead of the Corvette if I had wanted to go with. They have a second home down near DW too. They earned it. Lucky folks. BTW. I told them to go and get one of Will's favorite sandwiches while down there.

Grandson did not show up today. No problem. I told him that he has until April 1st to complete the chores. The mess is in the basement, I keep the door closed and all is well.

I found out that one of my 'readers' is the daughter of my heart surgeon. She has Downs. I like doctors who see you as people so that makes me feel much better. The kids do not tell me their last names as a rule so I was much surprised to find that fact out.

Meanwhile, visions of our Timmie doing such is going through my head. I can just see her, friendly as can be, going up and introducing herself to the scantily clad ladies of the evening and explaining all the ins and outs of WDW to them while they try to explain the 'ins and outs' of their profession to her. Bet she would organize them into an union before she left.

AND form a group for a field trip to POP Century with us POP Tarts.

I think I did gain that already Ms Linda.... on our break time in the afternoon I ordered a slice of everything pizza and they made me a whole one on multi grain crust to take home with me... it was soooooooo embarassing bec the room at RD smell like pizza while I was getting stoned (stone massage)!!! the other ladies were not happy.... they were fed with a stick of this and that while smelling the aromo of cheese, peppers and olives!!!

No it was bad enough that they craved carbs because of me... I was very quiet... plus they think I am lost... they are all and I told the front desk they have the right to be since they are paying.. while in my case I am coming in for free... that did not make the one gal who was and earhsot away happy... got up and ask me how did I manage to get it free... told her my boss bribe me to come here to work and my reward is free treatments for 2 days including tip then I ask here what is she getting done... a manicure... thats it ??? ohhhhhh she was red... as the Red Door!!!

My youngest grandson has always loved backrubs. Even at 11 he still will ask me to 'tickle' his back. Once he asked me if I had ever heard of rock massages and if I knew how to do them. He was six at the time. Scary kid.

Timmie, I will forgive you for eating all that great food if you gained weight. It is just the skinny 'ladies' who eat and eat and do not gain weight that tick me off, big time! AND because it is you and I love ya I hereby give you permission to lose it quickly.

Diva K, you need a lesson in Divahood. If you truly want to get rid of these workers I suggest that you order in a very aromatic meal tomorrow and sit in front of the TV, with some big sports game on (muted so they cannot hear the scores) and slowly eat your meal. Having a nice cold beer with it might be good too. You will frustrate them so much that they will finish up so they can go home and do the same. Of course you do run the risk of them not doing the job quite as well as they might. It is up to you, your choice.

Oldest grandson has been calling me all night telling me about his horrible day. He cut his hand and broke a piece off his new truck. I hope that is as bad a life as he ever has. Poor baby. I offered to come over and kiss his boo boo but evidently that is no longer the right 'cure'.

Two doctor's appointments tomorrow. I am a high maintence woman nowadays.

Funny you should say what you did about a brothel and how someone could walk into one accidentally. Well if you remember correctly Timmy's dream has always been to be a pole dancer so it would be fate. While she is giving them WDW tips they can show her how to work the pole. lol

Oh by the way, I just read an old post of yours today about wanting to go into the "bare it all" place off the highway and order bacon to watch people slip on grease or something like that. lol I laughed so hard my water came out my nose. I was picturing it and I believe you would do it too. lol Maybe we should drive down together next year just so I could see that one.

Hi, sounds like you will be busy in the next few months. It is sad the way the economy is effecting some people and that your landlord needs to forclose on the house. I am glad to hear you found a nice apartment. It sounds like a big one too. Only drawback is packing, who likes packing? YUK!!
