WB, long time no talk. Good to hear your doing well. Thanks for the concern over my tooth. I look at it this way it could be so much worse and if a root canal is the biggest worry I have I am doing really good. I am just a saver so I keep thinking of all the things I could buy with the money when a tooth seems so small and it with itl being hidden in my mouth it is such a shame.

You better take good care of yourself. I need you to be there next year at WDW. Who else to share that macadamia nut chicken with. You got me addicted to that stuff and yes, I would eat it even if it caused me pain to do so. lol No pain for me anymore though. The dentist put in the post and filled the tooth till my December appointment when he will decide if I need surgery. I am so bad I am contemplating canceling and living with the filling till it cracks or falls out. I am fine with it and my money side is saying why pay another 8 hundred something for a cap and whatever else for the sugery when the filling is doing the job? I think the dentist is just trying to suck all he can from my bank account so he can go on my vacation for me. lol

I wish you lived closer so I could come trick or treat at your house and then I could help take care of you after your surgeries. FYI, old grumpy men do not scare me so no worries about Tom. lol

Janjandis, I might have to go see HSM3 by myself too. My oldest grandson, who calls me often, told me that my dd and my youngest grandson are going to see it today. I am glad that she is able to spend time with him nowadays. I would have liked to have gone too though. Since he is now 11 and considered old enough to stay home alone now I do not see him often anymore.

Ang, want me to mail you a cookie? It might be a tad bit moldy by the time it reaches there though. Tom is not usually grumpy, only if he does not get to do what he wants and luckily he does not want to do much of anything. He might get a bit grumpy with you as you are a 'dangerous' woman who might give me ideas. As if I cannot come up with enough of my own. All those years of being 'good' have resulted in me being overwhelmingly 'bad' in my old age. I did not make the bed today and laid in it reading the papers and watching a news program this AM.

Hey y'all! How's every body doing? I've been incredibly busy the last month, but I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully, it isn't a train!! The PTA Fall family fun night was Friday night and it was great. Turnout was unbelievable!! We kicked off the bookfair as well and that runs through the week. This would be easier if I'd found a bookfair chairperson to run it, but we didn't. I spent 4 hours on Friday afternoon unpacking & moving around boxes of books. The sale & festival ran from 6 to 8pm but I didn't get to leave the school until about 10pm. I was wiped out!
Saturday night we had a Halloween party with friends. The kids had their own party down the block. We all had a great time. Today, grocey shopping, cleaning house & catching up online!

I'm finally back into the Disney spirit and I'm planning for our April trip. I'm getting pretty excited about it and hope to try some new things this time. Of course, the Animal Kingdom Lodge is pretty new to us. We've got breakfast reservations for CRT & Chef Mickey's. We'll take DH to WCC for the first time since Evie had such a blast. I'd also like to try Hoop Dee Doo review this trip. I'll have to make those reservations soon too.

Any suggestions guys?

I am so hoping they will include WDW in this AP payment offer....then again, last time I had one did not get enough use out of it...only 2 trips that yr!! My first AP worked out better - the thing about having an AP is that a burns a hole in my pocket. I so want to make more trips than I should.

AP's are so costly now, am thinking maybe a 10 day nonexpiring is a better bet. And can add on, so buy a 4 day hopper, then add more days and nonexpiring otpion next trip - did that in August with my 4 day hopper. Felt like a great deal. It works well now that I'm not going more than once or twice a year and for just a few days each trip.

Years ago AP's had great room discount benefits - which was stated as a benefit and advertized as reason to buy one - that's all changed now. AP room discounts are nice, but often not as good as other codes.

Think I'm babbling....

Anyway, Good Morning, everyone! Hope this is a wonderful Monday for all! It's my last week of unemployment, still no jobs to even apply for as an after school director or pre-school teacher. Have been checking out the stores and even those are not hiring. It's getting a bit scary.

Pooh, you would never let anything stand in the way of a WDW trip. I wish I had an assistant. I am thinking of taking in an illegal immigrant. In these tough times there are many looking for somewhere to hide out. I am a kind person and would not work them too many hours a day and would give them a nice place to live. Sounds like a win/win except for the fact that I would probably end up serving them breakfast in bed and doing all the work any old way.

Bonzo., I am sorry I did not get the details right. I cannot understand why it would be for just DL and not WDW. I am glad you figured out a way anyway. Disney Math is an interesting concept.

Minnie, I am agreeing with you about the AP's. With a bagful of one day passes from all these Free Dining trips that gives me nearly $80 off an upgrade and I no longer hit the parks each and every day. I only went to the parks 9 days out of 14 last trip and I have little interest in park hopping or just going into the park to see a parade or something. I cashed in my Citibank rewards last night as I was scared the company would go down the tubes and take my rewards dollars with it so I have all that money to put toward my next ticket purchase.

M2E, after working Book Fairs for decades I can no longer do much of anything. Not even sit in a chair and collect money as I cannot hear what they are saying. I just give my grandkids money to shop with. My grandchildren used to invite me to go with them because they knew that I could not refuse them anything to do with books. I hope yours was a success. Our teachers now post a list of books they would love to have for their class and folks buy them and donate them. Great idea!

I am headed over to read to my wee ones this morning and then to finish (I hope, I hope) the last of the gardens this afternoon. Cookies to bake Wednesday. I am thinking 8-10 dozen will be enough, maybe.

I truly agree... AP is a devil in disguise my AP got a good beating this year 2008... and by looking at the calendar... I think I will still be ahead with the AP use... not with my piggy bank though but yes with the AP use

AP's do tend to make one want to come more often and stay longer but as my life evolves it is making less and less sense to have one. Especially with the lack of good AP deals. I do not remember any that did not come out for the general public soon afterward.

It should be interesting to see what DW comes up with to tempt us next year. I think it will be something pretty good. I hope.

Nancy, I do not have lots of loot I am just very careful with what I do have.

BTW, had to bump up to 12 dozen cookies as the kids are planning on trick or treating me Friday. They asked if they could come in and play. It broke my heart to say no but I just do not have the energy to clean up afterward. They have other houses to hit as well.

Thanks, we're all doing well. I'm overly busy with work, cub scouts and Sunday school. I keep so much stuff in my head lately it feels like it's going to explode. My husband suggested a PDA. I told him I can never stick with any organizing system for more than a month.
