Sept 2005 Roll Call...It’s Finally Sept! Are You Ready? Come Share Your Enthusiasm

Morning :)

Good luck with your final ADRs Scoutsmom99! We have all ours set now.

One thing I wanted to point out is that I was calling from England, and generally had to wait until after work, so I was calling probably around say 2pm local time in Florida? Maybe even as late as 3pm. I had barely any wait time for a CM which is nice (particularly when I get my phone bill ;)) and was finding that for *most* restaurants I wasn't having a problem. *but* I was often told it was the last table, or one of the last few.

We did manage to get Jiko's, even tho' I phoned on the 90 day out at those later times (and was worried we wouldn't get it) we did. The only places we got times we didn't really like were Tonys (5.15pm was one of the few choices) and Mama Melroses (4.30pm was one of the few choices, but I'm told on the DIS that 30 days out we can perhaps amend it... we probably won't).

So, I guess what I'm saying is, although things are booking up because of the free dining plan, and although I would highly recommend you plan in all your TS as soon as possible because of this (I doubt they will have walkups) I think, imho, that apart from say CRT and other favourites like that you should be able to get tables whether you ring on the dot of opening time for the phone line or not.

Best of luck to you all :goodvibes

Gaspodé, I know you are north of London (if my memory serves me right), but I hope that all of your family and friends are all safe! I will keep everyone across the pond in my thoughts and prayers!

Thanks for your kind thoughts Scoutsmom99, yes, I am far up in the north of England. The events yesterday were terrifying and I did have to check on my brother who is on a work placement not far from the capital and sometimes goes sightseeing on his days off. Thank God yesterday he was in work so nowhere near. I have a friend who was on the International Program with me who works in Buckingham Palace, I have yet to hear from her but trust she is safe. Other than that our thoughts and prayers are now with the people of London and all those affected by these crimes :(

Good luck getting your additional ADRs and glad to hear you were successful with the first batch! We have breakfast at Boma's one day and I cannot wait to try it :)

DutchsMommy who asked whether ppl can make multiple PSs I can confirm that you can without the CMs disputing it. This is not because I have done so but because on my first phone call when I was trying to make multiple for many different evenings I somehow managed to book three, yes three separate restaurants for our second evening without realising! (its a long story). :rotfl: when I got off the phone and was telling DFi how well I had done we realised we were going to be eating at Ohanas and Maya Grill at 7pm and Spoodles at 7.30pm on that one night.... I promptly called and cancelled the excess and moved them to their correct dates ;)

Best Wishes to all,
Gaspodé

Sept 21 - Le Cellier (Epcot Canada - eh) 8:50pm. This one was a bit brutal, but I really want to try this restaurant. It was either this or 4:50pm I believe, which is just too early. I guess we will be in the rest. during Illuminations? This is OK with me because we saw it last time via an Illuminations cruise (which was awesome btw) so can miss it this time.
You're right...that Illuminations cruise was awesome! :teeth: (Thanks again for sharing!) It looks like I'll be missing you by a few days this time...I arrive on the 26th. I think 8:50 is a great time for dinner since you don't mind missing Illuminations this time around! Just think how cool it will be walking through the empty park after dinner! I'm also planning to try Le Cellier for the first time...on the 27th.

Sept 19 - Mama Melrose (MGM) 5pm.

Sept 21 - Le Cellier (Epcot Canada - eh) 8:50pm.

HEY! Maybe we will cross paths! Our family will also be in MGM on the 19th and in EPCOT on the 21st. (We will be having a late lunch/early dinner in Le Cellier at 2:10pm.)

I'll be wearing a lime green ribbon on my shirt and a lime green mickey head on my back pack.

YAY :cheer2:

Just made another payment on our trip !!! It has to be paid in FULL by the 22nd (another two weeks), and then it's just 45days to go !!!

WOO HOO

We're doing a cruise 9/18-9/22 then to the Poly until the 24th!!! Cannot wait!

:cheer2: :wizard: :cheer2: Just wanted to say that I am Steffy's "twin" and I am looking forward to our trip. Haven't been since 94. Sept 24 to Oct 2 POFQ Whhoooo

Me and the DF will be there Sept 10-16. Staying at POFQ. Looks like a few of you will be there at the same time. Coooool!! :cool1:

Scheduled for POFQ on Sept. 17 to the 24th! It will be my first time at FQ and I'm really looking forward to it.

I'm having to make a bunch of ADRs tho, for the first time ever in my Disney vacationing experience, so that I don't miss out on any places I'd like to eat. This is hard because I'm not the plan ahead sort. In fact, most of the time, when I go in September, I just get up, go out to the bus stop and get on whichever park bus comes first! ;)

But because they are expecting many more people eating out, I thought I'd hedge my bets.

Still, I'm SO excited! I just can't wait!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! September is getting closer and closer for me I can't believe how fast the days are going (I hope they do not go this fast when I'm at WDW :) ).
