Those temps are pleasantly warm ..... but if there is a breeze that may lower them a bit .... I may take a few lightweight cardigans just in case.

I'll be taking lightweight cardigans, mid weight cardigans, and one a bit thicker for the Atlantic!!!!!:rotfl2: Then of course there are the cover ups for Parrots Cay meals!!:scared1:

Oh is this at brunch or dinner? Sounds fab

We had it at both!!! At brunch order the entree you want and then the pizza(to share!!!;))

Whoa, That's pretty cold! It'll rake more than a lightweight cardi for me! I'll be the one with the scarf! ;)

They are just my perfect temperatures.

Hard to predict.

Spain should be warm during the dail and cold at night.

The TA bit last time was boiling hot! This wasn't seasonal though. It should be slightly cold especially at night, but sunny.

This cruise is a month later too isn't it? I'm hoping for the best for the crossing though.:cool1:

I just have a fuji finepix camera and I love taking photos but I am a point and shoot kind of girl really. I may borrow DD's small fuji camera for when I don't want to carry a bulky one. I would love to know more about photography and more sophisticated cameras but it would probably be way over my head.:rotfl:

Awwwwww bless her ..... she looks so cute in her very trendy cast. By the way, what are "silly bands" ... are they the stripey purple things on the cast.

Will look forward to seeing your photos ..... :thumbsup2

I'm intrigued :confused3

Saying this I think my Mums new one might be a Finepix in which case I change my previous statement. Me and my Sister and my Dad all have Kodak!

I think so yes so it will be colder!

Definately want to try that pizza at brunch then!

For the camera talk, I have a Panasonic Lumix and a Konica Minolta, both point and shoot digital. :confused3

Hey I would love to live anywhere but here at the moment, although the nice weather is making it a bit better. Fingers crossed next weekend will be fab as I'm going to Centerparks with Mum, Lindsay and Mandy from work! Proper girlie weekend in the middle of nowhere relaxing!

As for desserts, I should say its not that I hate them but I usually prefer Cheese Plates or Starters. Its rare for me to choose dessert in a restaurant when the meals being paid for. On DCL its different because its part of the price of the cruise so I don't mind getting it and either taking it back to the room for Dan for later or picking at it.

On the TA's last time DCL did a cheese plate on the menu each day. It was really nice being able to get cheese with the meal without having to cause the staff too much problems. Mind you they did decide to display the cheese near the entrance to Animators the one night and people just came across and started taking the cheese for themselves so wasn't too happy with man-handled cheese lol

Your girlie weekend sounds wonderful! Enjoy :)
I must admit I do love a good cheese platter, not manhandled by strangers though!

Lucky I'm a cardi girl! Is it particularly cool in Parrot Cay?

I have always found this restaurant cool for dinner. In February all the restaurants were freezing, as well as the main corridors!!! And, don't get me started on the temperature in the cinema.

I think this may well be us!

Speaking of Monty - has anyone seen Spam Alot? Its coming to Wales in august and I'm debating whether to get tickets for me and Dan

Spamalot is hysterically funny. By all means, see it and enjoy!! You won't regret it

We are booked for a Segway tour of Barcelona on the 17th at 20:00. Cost is 58 euros, including tax. Anyone else interested?

Silly Bands are like rubberbands that when not stretched look like animals, cars, words... www.sillybandz.com/ They are all the rage here, and span many age groups.

Abby, the missing sailor has been found!!! Wonderful news.

Thanks, will add a few cardi's to packing list. And some leggings and cardi's for the girls. DH can freeze, his sweaters take up too much room in the suitcase! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Not that I am into football, but the World Cup opening ceremony is very moving.

HEY UK DISERS

I was passing "Cash Generator" shop today, which is where i always get my overseas cash (as i believe it offers a better rate than any of the other main suppliers) and noticed a sign in the window stating that read

"Reserve your currency upto 7 days in advance and we guarantee you the benefit of any improvement in exchange rate when you collect.

Q What happens if the rate moves againt me in that time?

A Our problem not yours,"

i'm not sure if this a nationwide offer, but surely you can't loose! especially as they offer such competative rates to begin with.

just thought i'd pass the info along

SW

Thanks for that, sounds a good idea!:thumbsup2

It's a Cheshire Cat arm!!!!

You really need to add yellow eyes and a big grin to that cast.

That's my fear!!! I have all this time right now, and my FE gifts should be finished, but they aren't even close! I'm great at planning, but suck at execution! :rotfl:

that sounds just like me! Hope you enjoyed your turkey btw! :thumbsup2

Wow, just as I finished typing my last post, doorbell rung. Mickey Mouse Club tee shirts have arrived!! It seems Zazzle is here in Bay Area, specifically San Jose.

I can't wait for DH to see the shirts. I think I bought it too big for me but better to have too big than too small. I will just use something to tie it on the side.
:banana::banana::banana:

sounds lovely!:)

OK, No laughing, But a friend of mine makes these really funky t-shirts out of her DH vintage ones. She puts elastic in the bottom hem so they have a bit of shape, and ties up the sleeves with ribbons. They are really cute! Just an idea?

oh I like the sound of those!:thumbsup2

only 23 more posts till a pirate: -

I wonder how many people remember that :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

I said to DH just before ... if he wants to take any warmer layers he will have to wear them to travel in so that they don't eat into our weight allowance.

Not that I am into football, but the World Cup opening ceremony is very moving.

I thought so too ..... not looking forward to 4 weeks of it though ... every TV ad relates to football at the moment. Still it will chase me out of the house and I should get on with some walking. Otherwise I will spend the time on FE gift making. I am rooting for the USA though .... especially tomorrow ... just to annoy all the England supporters I know :rotfl2:
