Thank you all for your warm welcome! I am so excited for this cruise and all the fun things thta are happening on board. That's why I love the TA, so many sea days!

As for loosing weight, I am so with you guys! I have been doing the Belly Fat Cure for about two months now, trying to loose weight for our Med cruise. I have NEVER been able to loose weight (also hormone issues). I am down 9 lbs! And I feel fantastic, lots of energy, no mood swings. I highly recommend it.

Talking of food, DH and I are now on a weight loss challenge to see which of us can lose the most weight before 1st May. Basically my weight has been up and down since January and despite every good intention to lose before the cruise, I have let things slide a bit lately, to the point that yesterday we both stepped on the scales and I was the heaviest I have been yet this year and DH not much better. So with only 6 months to go we decided that we would give ourselves a challenge to see if that would help get us started in the right direction. I actually need to lose at least 14lbs, and aim to do that before the end of July, so the May date is just a short-term goal and I would like to lose 6lbs by then. If I don't get it off I won't fit into any of my cruise wardrobe, so it's not an option, it's a necessity. Wish us luck :wizard::wizard:

Lots of luck Sarah. I tried on some clothes in a shop that I liked and they were a bit 'snug'. So that's my motivation as I won't buy the next size up.

Excellent news on the weight loss. Keep it up. It's well worth it.

I know they are only pets and only mice, but they are two mice who have stolen my heart and I will really miss Snoopy if something happens to her. :sad1:

All fur babies are precious. How is Snoopy doing. It is sad I really understand. Hugs to you.

Don't count on me for a trip report, blog or photos. I simply don't have the talent.

Woody

Woody could you at least try and take pics of food :) I printed of last trans menus and my hubby and I both read them.

Some of them we had no clue how to say the items let alone have any idea what is was rofl.

Well done!

One good thing about being unemployed is I can cook for my hubby every day. Loving watching Rachel Ray and getting some great recipes. Last night Spring Chicken Meat Sauce and pasta. Tonight was pasta with Pancetta and Peas. Her version of BLTs with pasta coming up!!!! YUM!!!!!

Yes, I know, I am getting antsy and kinda going a little crazy. :lmao::lmao:

But once in a while, I know that if I am having a bad day with my back or having a migraine, he will gladly step in and cook something for me. He is one that after over 40 years, I will definately keep. :goodvibes
Lucky you, I also love to cook, Len DOES NOT cook, EVER.
YAY! I am finally all booked and paid in full, DCL, all flights, WDW, LA and everything, Completely booked and it feels so good!!!:cool1::cool1::cool1:
:cool1::cool1:
:dance3::woohoo::cheer2::yay: We are almost there, just a little over a hundred to pay on the cruise. Then need to save some spending $$$.
Think thats the same as us, going to pay it this week:thumbsup2

Good luck, thats a managable amout, its so so dif and nights def does NOT help.
OK so I've asked over on Facebook too but wanted to see what people think over here too.

What would people like to be included in the Navigator?

So far I have included:
  • Ship Itinerary
  • Info on the ports off the DCL website
  • Map of the ship
  • List of Dis names including a column to tick for those people that you are doing the FE exchange with
  • Celebration dates
  • Activity dates
  • Notes page

Can anyone think of anything else they would... like in the Navigator?

Its going to be a pdf with around 20 pages of info but it will be 2 pages per A4 sheet double sided so will fold into an A5 (I think) booklet hopefully (Penny is a genius in being able to do this).

Im going to send these out before hand so people can print them out ready to take with them as this saves on trying to work out the logistics of carrying them all. Hope this is OK with everyone? For those withough printing facilities I'm sure I can bring a couple of them along!
What kinda meet are we doing on the ship or is that in baracalona?
Basically its a vibrating plate you do exercises on and it increased metabolism and loads of other things.

Here's a link

I'm hoping it will be very consise. Ill have a look see if the restaurants tend to be open set times (which I assume they are) and put them in or at least put in which meals you can have where. Also will add kid club times!
We had that at bannatynes but I felt too stupid all my fat vibrating to get on it.

Oh had forgotten the Message board location and the list of lanyard team. Will add them in.

As for the others, definately will be in there once details are confirmed.

Woody - any ideas on a good location for the first day meet?

I attended first day meets on Deck 9 and at the Promenade Lounge.

The Promenade Lounge seems to be a much better place for a meet.

Woody

OK all we still need a few volunteers to organise things. Obviously if we don't get people to organise them then they wont be able to go ahead.

PJ Breakfast at Lumiere's - Someone to decide on a date, collate a list of names and give numbers to DCL before the cruise

Group Lunch at Parrot Cay - Someone to decide on a date, collate a list of names and give number to DCL

Cabin Tour - Someone to decide on a date and take people around the rooms

Beers of the World Exchange - Not sure how others feel about the practicality of this but need someone to collate numbers to see where this stands

Ice Cream Eating Competition - Need a volunteer to collate names as well as organising this with DCL. This again may not be viable but best to gauge interest first.

Combined Early Dining - Someone to collate names and organise with DCL

Group Photo - Someone to arrange a group photo perhaps on the day of PJ breakfast or Pirate night or both

Dis Tag - Someone would need to arrange this. The idea is there's a tag magnet that has to be passed between rooms during the cruise. Not 100% sure on the rules but I'm sure someone out there knows it.

Anyway if anyone can help let me know?

Great! I am also PIF on the cruise. Flight over to Barcelona is paid and flight home is paid. Hotel in Barcelona is booked and money put aside to pay. Now just need to work with my DS and DIL on the WDW Hotel for after the cruise!!

Peterpanstout - Welcome!!!!

Woody - awesome vacation coming up! Our little WBTA will just be a short vacation for you! Have a great time!

Beers of the World Exchange - Not sure how others feel about the practicality of this but need someone to collate numbers to see where this stands

Anyway if anyone can help let me know?

I will be happy to do a list or two.
As for dining I will worry about that after the date has passed that we can book things and stuff.

Lynne fancy choosing one lol?

Yeah all of it can be arranged in advance its just last time someone leading the group was useful as it made sure that it didn't take all day lol. I agree it could be linked to beers of the world.

Beers of the World Exchange - Easy to bring a few bottles, but any nmore would be a pain, see above.

Wanna collect names just so we can gauge nos?

Group Photo - We could do that once on board.

I think its more just deciding a date and time so people can know where to meet that needs to be done in advance.

No probs, tell me which one you want me to do.

I never thought of the photo thing, yes ,we would have to get a date ready,doh.:dance3:

Of course,if we do the room tour, it wouldnt have to have the beer thing, just optional!! I would love to do a scottish theme, irn brew and tunnocks tea cakes and some beer from local brewers.
